4 Reviews of the Alaska 6

We have owned this tent from new and been on many adventures with it. Just my husband and myself (and one springer). It stood up to some horried wind and rain, we even slept in the car as we feared loosing the tent while we slept - it was still stood in the morning.
Good Points.
Good to put up (2 of us = 30min)
Good size plenty of space
Reliable in poor conditions
Bad Points.
Poor Zips
Condensation
We have used this tent and been very happy with it, its now at the end of its life so time for an upgrade sad to see it go.

We got ours second hand, and we love it. We've used it about 4 times now. We've had replace a couple of poles which is expected after a bit of hammer and this was really easy to do. Me, my husband and 4 year old daughter all sleep comfortably in one room and use the other for storage and changing. We also fit a big table in the middle easily. An all round easy to use reliable tent.

I got one of these for a very good price and used it for the first time at Normans bay in August, It stood up to all the wind and rain we had very well and we had no leaks or broken poles etc. Very impressed as the weather was foul.
Wouldn't want to sleep six in it but for 2 adults and 2 kids its a great size and very easy to erect.
The lack of a SIG may be an issue for some and it did have a bit of condensation on the flysheet in the mornings but not enough to cause it to drip.
Overall we love it and won't 'upgrade' until we've killed it!
