Well we've just updated our trusty Gelert Horizon 8, it was getting on and we decided that with our 2 year old an Inflatable tent would be easier to setup on site. Well it certainly is! Once you get it out of the massive bag its up in minutes, it really is simple.
I really liked the ceiling windows, its a pretty dark tent (which is good) but has plenty of windows. One minor issue is the cover for the window rolls up (not down) and doesn't really sit very well with the velcro. I may be able to improve that a bit.
Its a lot smaller than the Horizon 8, but not small enough to worry us, however make sure you're aware of the size before you order as it may surprise you.
Our Horizon 8 had a double bedroom and two singles, this Bala 8 has two doubles with dividers. I think I prefer the way the Horizon was laid out but you can work around it with the Bala 8 .
It has some neat velcro straps to run electric cable along the air beams and plenty of hook space.
Disappointed not to see any pockets for storage, but maybe this is why its so cheap. £290 for an inflatable 8 berth tent seems an excellent price. So much so that I purchased this despite not needing it for 12 months. I may regret that but I thought i'd take the risk.
