We have used the tent for our Family of 4, the 2 boys won't share a space so having 3 separate rooms is great. The tent is large but having the 3rd bedroom up means you have a funny L-shaped space to sit in at night. We bought the side extension to give us more room and this has worked well when staying away for a whole week but does mean the pitch needed has to be reasonably large. There was no ingress of water and the tent held up well in the wind. It does need at least 2 people to erect this tent easily.

We bought this tent new in 2013 from ebay for under £300 including carpet and footprint ground sheet.
It is well made and survived wind and wet well, we used it with the end bedrooms and left the third room down. Plenty of room for kitchen, table chairs and the dogs very large crate. We found it easy to put up and had it all up beds made and tea brewed and cider poured in under an hour. The reason for only 8 stars is the fact that we found that the end bedrooms are two separate rooms, not one large room with a zipped divider as the Gelert site description had suggested.
As there are just two of us and we really wanted a larger spacious bedroom we have now replaced these rooms with one large room purchase separately again from ebay it came from a different make of tent but the measurements appeared very similar and it was inexpensive enough to take the risk. With just a few minor adjustments to the hanging straps it works perfectly.
We also have a side porch for this tent which we may use for longer holidays, but we had more than enough space for 2 adults and a very large bouncy dog without it

Bought this tent April this year. Havnt yet tried it out but have erected it once- took about an hour for 1st time as instructions were rubbish but I read reviews on the Corvus 5+2 and 6+2 and they had reviews on best ways to erect.
Its very spacious, we also bought the footprint and carpet and front porch.
I will come back and review tent properly once we had tried it out over jubilee week :)
