3 Reviews of the Cirrus 6
By: New_campers_mitch Reason: I've used one Made in: 2005 Rating:
Borrowed this tent from step father just recently. Nice spacious design but only downfall was the height. Both my husband and I are quite tall, so could not stand upright at all (aching neck by the time we went home). Dont think I'd like to squeeze 3 people in each bedroom, certainly wasn't big enough for that. Nice tent though, if you're under 5ft 8

We have just used our cirrus for the first time, it was so easy to put up and takes just 20mins.
The only complaints I have are that the ground sheet could be longer, it only goes from the front of the tent to the front of the bedrooms, also I found it hard to get the front area pitched properly when pegging out, but not sure if it had something to do with our pitch being abit on the slope,
Overall we love the tent, its roomy enough for our family of three and our dog,
I would also say that honestly, I think that you may struggle to sleep three people on air beds in each compartment, I liked the fact that the fly screens can be used on there own in the bedrooms, it was hot and this allowed us some air through the night.
The gelert is a great family tent, very light, airy and roomy enough for the average family.

Bought this in 2008, what a little cracker it is! Loads of living space, 2 separate bedroom pods, easy to erect (took 2 of us 20 mins). It has withstood gale force winds at Shell Island (we were eventually evacuated from the site by the owner!)Although the groundsheet is not sewn in, an extra large one will compensate perfectly. My only gripe is the front entrance is a tad awkward to get at the right angle, so easier to use side entrance, especially in high winds or rain. It is, essentially a summer tent, light and airy. Best of all, it only cost me £50 from Go Outdoors in the sale! Would recommend it to anyone!
