4 Reviews of the Cyclone 6
By: Kittiwillow Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2005 Rating:
We've used this tent for many holidays over the past four years and for it's price it's been pretty good. My husband is over 6' and he can stand up in the main living area which has been a real bonus and during bad weather, we've been able to live quite comfortably inside with plenty of room, even four of us sitting around a table.
On the downside, if the wind catches in the wrong direction the side can bow in a bit and after four years of use we are having to use sealant on the seams to reproof it. We have also been using proofer on it every year.
Overall a good tent but it let us down in bad weather this year (might have been the severity of the weather or the age of the tent though).

We used this tent on our first camping trip ever and it was easy to pitch (40 mins). Very spacious for us (family of 4).
We used the 3rd bedroom as a bit of a kitchen - for the fridge, kettle etc. And the kids shared the 2nd bedroom with no complaints.
The only downside to this tent is that it does get very hot!
Overall we were impressed with our tent.

This was our 2nd tent which we bought after 1 camping trip.
Really love the tent, it has a spacious living area and 3 spacious bedroom pods.
The tent is easy enough to erect and take down.
Has stood up to some strong weather and never let us down.
The door can be opened out and held with poles, handy if it is raining for cooking under.

I've used this tent over the past 4 years. It's easy to erect, spacious, robust(seen off heavy rain and high winds).Downside it gets very hot, only has one door so difficult to vent.
It's good starter tent for families who want to try out camping without spending a fortune.
I'm off to look at Outwell Wolflake 7 & Florida 6 , now I'm a bit more committed and don't mind spending more for the extra features
