I got this tent from Tesco on a £25 offer. I thought it would be an improvement on their own-brand 2 man tent (which is actually ok). Unfortunately, when I put this Gelert tent up it was missing one of the pole supports. Also, the packaging stated that the inner tent was 205 cm long and I thought I would be able to sleep along one side (it's not all roses being tall). This wasn't the case. I measured the length at full stretch and it was 190cm, which is no longer than the Tesco tent. I'm returning this tent to the shop.
If you get one that is put together properly and don't need the extra length, the tent seems ok. It is well ventilated with fine mesh panels to keep the midges out. The porch arrangement seems useful with its windows (and curtains!) and gives you a chance of getting out of a wet tent without water tipping onto you or into the tent. Obviously I can't give a clue about durability.

We are not sure the year of manufacture.We bought from tesco in the sale we have got a bigger tent but wanted something for one night stays this is easy to put up and down packs away easily. Its ok for overnight sleep but if it rains during the day ,it wouldn't be ideal it would be too small to put chairs in and would have to sit on the mattress .But over all we were pleased .
