Brought this tent second hand. Its a really nice tent and the bloke I brought it from had only used it once. Took it to a local campsite and put it up it took 2 of us 2 hours to put up is that about right I was just wondering how long it took others. Also this make does not have a sewn in ground sheet, does this bother any one and does it make the tent cold or wet in bad weather. There was quite a gap under the tent, it could of been us but was just wondering how any one else over came this. We also have a dog who found it rather good fun to go in and out the tent via the gap

We love our tent, its like a little home from home, we use two rooms for bedrooms, one for storage and one for a dining/games room, keeping the middle part free for wet play etc. Its quick to go up(ten mins). Has great storage, easy to keep clean. The only downside is that it would be good to have a sewn in groundsheet, but this only affects the middle part if a little windy, and we have two good windbreaks to stop this, we even have a carpet.... and put up our solar lights inside for added fun.

We bought our tent in 2007 as we decided to treat our four children to some of the sights of Britain. This holiday started off being stopped on the motorway because of the floods. After one day of sun we enjoyed six days of the most horrendous rain and storms ever. After a year off we started to go camping again and we have since had some rain and some very bad windy weather but we have had no complaint with the tent. We all have our own bedrooms and the lounge/kitchen area has seated 12 of us for my daughters 16th birthday night camping trip. It is very easy to put up and has never leaked or blown away. It is warm and because it is so big never gets too messy.

I have owned one of these for 4 years. Great value, solid, stable even in force 6 wind, no leaks, B+Q tarpaulins fit perfectly as footprint groundsheets, easy to erect and more importantly, pack away.
We have used it for 4 family holidays. It easily accommodates my 5 and as many as 4 guests. The new version with the sown in groundsheets is also very good but I still prefer the ease of erection / replacability of a fitted groundsheet. Off to Lake District with 9 in 2 weeks!

Recently bought this fab tent for bargain 189 from charlies. First time we put it up was at campsite - very windy so one of the guys from vans helped us but no trouble. Stayed dry and warm all week despite some very heavy rain. Hanging pockets brill idea - love my new tent. X only three of us in it so loads of lovely room .

We are now into our second season using this tent and we cant really fault it. The weather was not too kind on our recent trip to Derbyshire, lots of very heavy rain and strong winds which tested the best of us. Our friends have a Wynster which was awful to erect in the horrendous conditions and they even broke five pole sections in the process. Ours on the other hand, went up like a dream and during the storms which followed stayed dry and comfortable. The spacious interior is fantastic with ample room for the kids and a 6.5ft adult! Whilst we did have eight people in the living area on an evening, this was not in the least bit cramped. Another good point is that we have always managed to fold it up to fit back into the bag supplied, not always that easy with some tents. The only problem we have had was the sides of the tent didn't always reach the floor - maybe inexperience on our part. I would love Gelert to offer a matching canopy for this tent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this tent to anyone.

We also have one of these tents! They are ideal for families, there are four, sometimes five of us and we all have plenty of room for all the stuff needed on a weeks camping holiday with the kids! Dropped on ours early this year for just £100 in the sale at our local camping shop. I like a tent which you pitch fly sheet first, ideal for the not so sunny summer!

What a great tent! And some serious bargins to be had purchasing one now as they are 'end of line'. It is huge, room for the whole family and all the modern camping kit. They quality is good, its not too hard to put up with 2 people, the movable inners make the layout flexible, either 1 huge bedroom, or 2 or 4 smaller ones! My only gripe is that it doesn't have a sown ion groundsheet. But I can live with that. The new 2008 meridian that replaces it does!
