We bought this tent second hand from a friend and have no idea how old it is, we've owned it about 6 years.
The tent is very easy to pitch although would have been even easier if I'd read the instructions!
The inner goes up first, you then tie the fly sheet to the poles and peg down. The tent went up in about 10-15 minutes and would have been quicker if the ground hadn't been so stony!
For two of us, there was plenty of room with lots of room on either side of us for our bags. There are handy pockets as well.
The tent quickly dried in the morning and I was able to easily roll it around the poles before sliding everything into the bag.
All in all a small sturdy tent, ideal for weekends!

Me and my partner bought this for Download Festival 2012, we had to put up in a thunderstorm, had a groundsheet under the tent, and had the entire tent set up and sat inside within 10 mins. The tent inside was very spacious and dry, even though we set up in the rain, we had no issue with condensation or anything and we was dry throughout the 5 days.
This tent went through extremely high winds on top of a hill and where other tents were broken down by the weather this one stood firm. Even with the wet mud getting under neath the tent we had no leakages, no damage no problems. This tent was a pure success and will be at Download 2013 come rain or shine we know we will arrive back at the campsite to a sturdy tent that does the job for a full 5 days

Bought this as a tent to use for quick one nights away as the main tent(wolf lake 7) would take too long to put up just for one night.
We used it this weekend with just the 2 of us , took a double air bed with space beside for bags etc ,would have been able to fit a single air bed in too.
We found the little porch bit was great to boil a kettle out of the wind, just on the suitcase stove. And it was ideal to just sit and have a look around with an early morning cuppa.
If it was pouring with rain then having to pitch the inner first would be a nuisance as obviously it gets wet! and thats pretty much the only reason I've only given it 7,however if like us you know that when you buy it then you know what you are buying and prepare for that. If it was raining I think we'd hang on and wait for the rain to clear before pitching.
For more than one night we wouldnt use this tent, although we would use it for one night with our 10yr old.
My son aged 21 and his girlfriend also have an identical tent which is used most weekends rain or shine at various surf beaches throughout Wales and they love it.

I bought the Gelert Rocky 4 for myself and my son for our weekend trips when we leave the Mrs and youngest son at home (I cant pitch our Sunncamp Invader on my own)
It's a great size tent for the two of us (all four of us have used it for one night but that was not so comfy) and it fits (just about) a double airbed inside the main sleeping area.
As other reviews have mentioned this tent does suffer dreadfully from condensation which can obviously lead to some damp sleeping bags. I'm still trying to find a way of minimising this but for the £40 we paid for it I don't have many complaints.
You'd struggle to spend more than a night in this size tent with 4 adults, but for two it is a pleasant experience.

We bought this to use on stopover nights whilst driving to holidays in Europe this year, when it would have been too much trouble to set up the big tent.
For a simple 'up in 15 minutes, get inside and go to sleep' tent it works well. Two adults and two children just about fit inside; with four adults we would have been like sardines.
The second time we used the tent there was a thunderstorm outside for most of the night, and although by the morning some water had got onto the groundsheet of the external area underneath the flysheet, in the main sleeping area inside not a drop of rain had come in.
Considering it only cost something like £35, it does the job and I'm very pleased with it.

Bought this for my daughter and her friend.
Used 3x's so far.
Easy to pitch & pack away.
Would suggest that as this is an inner-first pitch & therefore the fly-sheet lays on top of it, that it is better to peg the fly-sheet separately & away from the inner so as to avoid/minimise condensation!
Overall, for the price it has proved good for the money . No leaks . Good carry bag. Good colours.
My daughter is taking it to T4 On the beach this year & is hoping to cram x5 girls into it . ??? . Good luck with that then! ;)

We use this tent for our children while we use a Gelert Colima 4TD. Usually there are two of them in it and it is a comfy amount of space for 2, maybe 3 but as usual would be tight for 4 people. It is well made, easy to put up and generally sturdy in a wind. The only negative is that the inner seems very close to the fly, and on a wet and windy night they can become stuck to each other, bringing moisture inside, but there were no leaks on seams and all in all for the £35 I paid, it's a good tent :o)
