I bought this tent for my first paintball weekend away with a mate. We had loads of paintball gear and also a gazebo we had to carry. So it was good to have a tent that was quite small when packed away plus it's not that heavy.

The tent was very easy to pitch and was up within 10 mins with my friend helping but you could quite easily pitch this yourself. It held up very well against light wind and rain and didn't have any leaks.

The only issue we had was it wasn't big enough for all the equipment we had and crawling in and out of the tent wasn't much fun when you've been paintball 8 hours non stop (I should have bought a walk in tent but didn't think at the time as this was cheap).

I have since sold this to a friend and he loves it. It's been all over Europe to festivals with 2-3 people sleeping in it at a time and is perfect for the amount of equipment (beer lol) he and his friends take.

We bought this tent having decided to fully embrace camping and go on a 10 day camping holiday followed by a music festival in Sept 2010. We had a small 2 man tent already which is fine for the odd one or two nights but not comfortable (or spacious) enough for longer stays. We put the tent up originally in the back garden, to ensure minimal arguments and looking generally silly at the camp site, it went up easily with clear instructions and is lovely and roomy inside. There is room for a double inflatable mattress, our bags/coats etc with the porch having loads of space to store cooking equipment, shoes and our folding chairs. This tent did excellently for our holiday, we stayed warm and dry, there was room to move around and we could even sit in the porch way in the rain. I would definitely recommend this tent to others, we've used it again this weekend on an early season camping trip to Wales. So easy to put up and down, we got it down in just under 15 minutes when it got too cold to stay the final night!

We bought this tent for weekends away - the sort of camping where you see hot weather on the forecast, chuck a few things in the back of the car and head off on the spur of the moment. We already have a large tunnel tent for longer camping holidays, which is perfect for us and our two children, but is large and bulky to carry and takes a while to put up and down.

The Gelert Tornado is perfect as an alternative. Either one of us can put it up on our own (other than bending the porch pole into place, which needed two), and putting it up with two of us took less than 10 minutes. It comes down just as easily, and packs away into a small, compact carry bag.

The cabin is an OK size inside - just big enough to hold a double air bed and two singles side by side. The porch is a decent size and there's space there for a few essentials (a holdall, small stove, kettle) to be stored overnight without risk of them getting wet. The tent roof is low and obviously you can't walk in/out or stand up inside.

We haven't tested the tent in bad weather but we slept in it on a rainy night and both we and our gear in the porch stayed dry. All in all, this is a perfect tent for what we wanted - easy to pitch/collapse, small to store, cosy and dry to sleep in.

Have just bought this tent today at a local car boot sale for just £5.00 (yes just a fiver). It is brand new and has never been out of its bag. I put it up in the garden this afternoon and can't believe my luck. It will be ideal for me, hubby and our Jack Russell for weekends away. Can't wait to use it. Bargain.
