Excellent living space. Great for our family of 4, 8 people would be a crush. Very heavy rain on our last 6 night trip, only small amount of water ingress. No extensions by Gelert available, have bought a Boston 500 that does the job. Easy to pitch, though had the same problems with the corners rising.

Well made and very waterproof, huge interior space, but like most tents, although meant for 8 it would better suit 6, but as we found out when we first used the tent in August its fantastic for four plus dog, used one sleeping pod for storage (her indoors doesn't do clutter). The large 4 berth pod is great for two adults, big double blow up bed still leaves plenty of room either side that you can stand up in.
You do have to make sure you peg it out correctly, our initial attempts left the sewn in groundsheet lifting at corners, but re-pegged to suit. Apart from a quick trial erection at home, this was our first attempt at getting it fully erected and pegged out, so pegging issue probably down to me.
Didn't notice any of the defects reported by first reviewer, there were one or two minor quality issues, snag to mesh screen etc, but nothing major as far as tent concerned.
We also got the carpet, but this looks like it may not wear well. Because of its large size and the need for to it to be light for folding and packing purposes, it moves a lot when walked over leaving creases, it would be better if it were secured in some way.
Apart from a few niggles, this tent proofed to be a good long stay tent. We spent 9 days at the Polmanter site in St Ives in August(great site, already booked again for 2012), weather was excellent, but had a few relatively heavy bouts of rain, mainly at night, no real wind to talk of, but tent performed well.

Just returned from a camping break, a few problems with the tent:
1) One of the pegging points was missing stitching where sewing machine had missed reinforcement around pegging point.
2) Design defects meant the two side inner rooms touched the outer fly sheet. Could not tension outer flysheet sufficiently to correct this, as insufficient outer pegging points, leaving outer flysheet very billowed and slack. Consequently any condensation/ water on outer transferred to those sleeping in the two side inners.
Tent has excellent space but disappointed with product build quality, needs extra outer pegging points to be serviceable and better attention to finish. Otherwise could be a promising product. We tried every opportunity to try to re-peg but could not get rid of billowy outer slack. I feel this product is a surprising disappointment and not suitable for purpose and would like it to be returned it to manufacturer.
Very waterproof in finish but poor and floppy when pitched. In summary needs extra pegging points to side rooms of tent and better attention to finish too.
Like the sewn in groundsheet.
