I don't actually know when the tent was made but put 2014 as that's when I bought and used it.

I just used it at Glastonbury for 4 nights. During that time, it rained a lot, was sunny a lot, and there was even an electrical storm with thunder, lightening and huge rain drops.

The tent withstood all of this very well. It got wet in the porch area but only around the doors, and that's mostly because even when the zips are closed fully and the tent is pinned down correctly, there is still a gap, and it's this that the rain comes through. No problems with morning dew in the porch. Main sleeping area is spacious enough for 2 comfortably which we were. 3 would be snug especially because the inner is not taut. The sleeping area is ok for anyone up to 6' but if you are taller than that, you could not sleep straight and have it all zipped up - you'd need to sleep diagonally or with your feet sticking out and not zipping up completely.

It's a nice looking tent. Pitched very easily in less than 10 mins. Don't know how it goes away because it got so covered in mud that we left it to be recycled there.

Would I recommend it? Yes.

I bought this tent as I tend to camp on my own so needed something I could pitch and strike by myself. I had a go at home when I first got the tent, but struggled to repack. However, once I was brave enough to really push down hard on the poles the tent went in very easily. I am only 5' 2' and managed by myself. The tent is compact when packed, pitches in minutes and had plenty of room for me and my dogs. I think the living area would be tight if there we three people in there, but for me it was okay. The only negative I have is ground sheet is flimsy. I used another underneath as I felt the dogs nails would pierce it easily, not sure if they would, but I didn't want to risk it. There was some rain ingress during a stormy day, but to be honest I think most tents would have leaked unless the ground sheet was sawn in. Overall for what I paid for the tent, I am happy with it.

This tent is very easy to pitch and pack away. We used this tent in Scotland last year and although anything set in the porch area will have water under it when it rains, the main sleeping area stays dry. It even withstood a wet night at John O'Groats. As a previous poster mentioned it is worth using the seam sealant supplied on the sleeping area as this did come loose quickly.

This is one of the 'pop-up' type tents.

I chose it for ease of pitching, as me and my 8 year old were going on our 1st camping trip.

Pitch/put down: 9/10

I practised at home and found it pretty easy to pitch and put away. The trick with pitching is to get child to hold onto one end, peg all the ground pegs in first and then the guy ropes. We did it in just under 10 mins.

I'm a 5'2' weakling and am able to put it away by myself, but it does take some brute force. I found the instructions fine: as long as you push down whilst almost walking the tent around in a circle it goes into the bag fine.

Durability: 5/10

We camped at Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland: it was windy and rained at night.

The first night one of the guy ropes came off as I tried to pitch the tent.

On the 2nd night, the tent did leak a bit and one seam in the sleeping area was beginning to ladder. I applied more of the seam sealer (supplied with the tent) - I don't know how well it would have withstood further rainy weather. Fortunately for the 3rd day it was sunny.

There is plenty of space inside the porch and sleeping area.

One thing I will say is that the groundsheet is thin. We put a picnic rug in the porch area and lots of foam mats in the sleeping area. If we hadn't we would have been soaked as the moisture from the ground came through the groundsheet.

Value for money: 5/10

We paid less than full price: about £70. At that price I'm happy: had I paid more I wouldn't have been (see comments about groundsheet, guy rope and seam).

I bought this tent because I wanted one with a good size porch (which this has) to sit in while the weather makes its mind up and also because it was half price. It's great to put up, just take it carefully out of the bag and then peg it down. Putting it away is a different matter! It took me about 4 attempts (on my own) before I managed it the first time, once I realised you had to really bend the poles and use a lot of brute strength to get it in the bag I managed it ok, there is a knack to it and once you get it your fine.

I would recommend it as a good quality, easy pitch tent.

Very quick to pitch and put away, as the poles, inner sheet, outer sheet and groundsheet are all attached. Worth buying if you are looking for a quick and easy tent to contend with. Initially difficult to master getting out of and putting back into the bag - its definitely a two man job! Lightweight and fairly easy to carry though, and spacious inside with generous sized bedroom that would comfortably fit 3, you would even get 4 in if you needed to.

Compact when stowed, easy to erect with a neat, spacious & functional layout BUT an absolute nightmare to repack. The instructions for doing this are vague , imprecise & frankly useless. It would be a really great value tent for a couple travelling light & touring but as it is, it requires 2 strong fit people to wrestle the fibreglass poles back into the small, feeble & poorly designed carrying bag & then they must have a great deal of faith in 1. The flexi-stength of the poles & 2. That the poles are not going to spring out & remove an eye.
