I bought my tent second hand for £80 and WOW.What a bargain! I needed a larger tent because my granddaughters like to come camping with me. I was so impressed that I also bought the canopy and footprint. It is so easy to erect and the canopy doubles the size of living space. The bottom of the tent was kept clean and dry with the use of the footprint. We had to feed hook up through zip which was the only down side.

A great tent for the price, easy to erect in 20/30 minutes, very simple with same length poles,waterproof/windproof and almost foolproof with built in groundsheet, plenty of room for a family and a great way to introduce them to the wonderful experience of camping at low cost well within the means of most households which could provide a holiday home for a low expenditure and the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors

A great tent for ease of use, partner and I can put up in twenty mins and down in thirty.
Have used in heavy rain and no problems. Downfalls, no insert for electric cable and no hooks for lights.
There were three of us using this tent and we were very comfortable don't think 8 would be that comfortable in it,but perfect for a family with adults and kids.
Would recommend ground sheet and carpet just for comfort.

We bought this as an offer as we were not sure about camping but thought we'd give it a try, fairly easy to erect(about half hour if you get a trap on!)
We've had seven in and it were comfortable, not tried in rain yet, had a few damp mornings and seems ok.
Will be taking it to France this year for a couple of weeks so that should give it a good test.
Very good tent if you want a big one but don't want to spend to much.
Would recommend the footprint ground sheet and definitely the canopy, its like an extra room and good place to have a glass of wine at the end of the day

To be honest we got it because it was on offer. Good size tent. Around 45 minutes to put up with two adults, a three year old and a nine month old so quite quick. Sturdy when it's up and plenty of room. I advise getting the canopy too or you run the risk of condensation running in the front door and it gives you somewhere to put wet stuff keeping the communal middle area (reasonably) clean.
We haven't got the carpet yet but will be - it feels a little bare and cold without it.
Cons - there isn;t anywhere easily to hang lights etc. The ends are angled oddly meaning that you need to be careful to avoid pressing the insert and the outer tent together in the night.

Great budget family tent. Easy to pitch even on uneven ground it looked very sturdy and stayed dry despite very heavy rain. We also bought the canopy which was brilliant for the kitchen area and somewhere to leave muddy boots. Bedrooms are good size and you can fit 2 double beds in each end if you needed to sleep 8 in it. Only negative was no hooks for lights and no flap for electric hook up. Would recommend for a family tent. Packs away easy enough, Happy Camping!

We enjoy the ease of putting this up, one of the reasons we bought it we can have it up in about 20 mins and then another 10 for guy ropes. Were a family of 6 and we have 3 of us each end on a double and a single air bed although we can just about squeeze 2 doubles one end. We have the porch too and used this the second time we camped and was surprised at how big it was almost doubled the living area we sat and ate in it when drizzling but we can get 6 seated inside. We had torrential rain for a whole day and tent held up well leaked a bit by the next morning but this was also some condensation overall held up well, found it sturdy and only paid £199 with porch and footprint, would recommend this.

A Great first tent for any family. Very easy to pitch and loads of room in side for a medium size family, not sure about 8 people in it.Only down side no flap for electric hook up and no hooks for a light.
We arrived in the rain and managed to get pitched within twenty mins no rain came in so was very dry and it held very well in the high winds.
