It's a lot of money to find for a tent but it's no worse than any number of high quality mountaineering tents. However you get a proper mattress, you sleep under a proper duvet in real comfort and get the best night's sleep I've ever had under canvas.
That said, the only point we can fault it on is the cost! It's exceptionally well made and incredibly easy to set up; we use it for going away for sports meetings, family holidays and any other vehicle-based adventures. Putting things into perspective, the cost equates to three weeks away in a self-catering cottage. For two people and two dogs with either an estate car or a 4x4 (so the dogs can sleep in the car) it's perfect - in the morning you're packed up and ready to go within 10 minutes!
We've used it in really hot weather (when the ventilation on all four sides comes into its own) and we've used it in high winds when its proved really durable. Service from the German distributors has also been excellent.
For campsite kudos alone we're giving it 10/10 - but the reality is it earns that for every aspect except possibly the initial outlay.
