Pros: easy to erect; bombproof - toughest tent I've ever seen/used, can take kids and branches bouncing off it; quiet, non-flappy material; great for wintercamping as is warm, draught-free, has a tough groundsheet, and can take a dump of snow; no guylines to trip over; smallish footprint for canoe camping; can use fly only with a single centre pole for lighter load and fair-weather camping; cool in sun and nice and dark for bright mornings; nice naturalish colour; decent height though can't stand up

Cons: need car or canoe; inner-pitch first is bad for rain (not so bad when have tarp as can put that up first) but better for stability; cups that poles sit in at corners can be bit fiddly; no midge net; doorway can let in weather if no tarp when entering/exiting
