A pole has broken on my Urban Escape Atago 5 tent from Halfords. I have called them to order a replacement but they tell me that they do not supply replacement poles. This tent has therefore become useless. If tempted to purchase an Urban Escape tent, please check the availability of replacements for broken items and I suggest that the reply should be in writing.

We were looking for a fair weather/weekend tent for 1/2+2 as our Kalahari 8 was a bit big, especially for 1/2 nights when only one adult was going. We were looking at the Atago 5 which was reduced to €180 and for the price seemed to tick all our boxes, most similar tents were all closer to €250.
We got it in the end for €162 with a 10℅ discount and for the price, I don't think we could have gotten better value buying new.
We can both put it up with one adult, fully pegged out in about 30mins which is ideal.
The bedrooms are split into 3/2 berth and we use it for 2/1 in camp beds and its perfect. For 2+2 we take down the divider and its snug but not cramped.
The living area is really spacious, easily big enough for whatever you need. We have a kitchen unit on one side and table and chairs on the other and there's still loads of room to move about.
If you take it as a 3 or 4 man tent its brilliant, 5 would just about fit if sleeping on mats or blow up mattresses but much more suited to 3 or 4, like most supposed 5 man tents.
The windows are badly designed, you have a big square, the top is a vent and the bottom is clear plastic sheeting. The roll up is on the outside so if it starts to rain you need to run out and close it down.
Ventilation is very poor for night time. There is a decent sized vent at the back which is always open. At night you need to close the window flaps and front door which also closes the ventilation leaving just one vent at the back. When used for 3 people the roof of the tent was notably damp in the mornings. Once the windows and front door are opened it dried up pretty quick and I never found puddling. During the day you can leave the front mesh door open even in a bit of rain due to the shape of the little porch and this is great for the condensation so its really only a night time issue.
If there was a way of leaving a 2nd vent open at night without worrying about rain coming in I'd rate this as 10/10 but but due the design flaw I'm gonna give it a 7.
If anything happened it I'd happily buy another at the reduced price of €180(or €162 like I got it for). It really is a good small family tent.

This is our first tent so we can't compare it to anything but can't see how you would find a better tent for the price. I prefer this layout with the sleeping area at one end instead of rooms at each end. I also like that you can section off the sleeping area to make it smaller or larger. As only 3 of us went on our trip, we used the smaller area for storage. The living area was easily big enough for us. It's bigger than our caravan!
We've never put up a tent and following the instructions on a windy site was interesting. As said previously, having the doors closed creates a vacuum. It wasn't easy to put up especially with a grumpy partner but it went up and stayed up for the duration. Any problems, I'm sure, would be down to our inexperience not the tent design. We definitely need to learn how to put up a tent though! It packed away fairly easily once we managed to get the air out and fits into its bag. (I used the cardboard bag supports as a template for the size to fold it). It also fits easily into our little hatchback.

We bought this for just the two of us and liked the fact that it was all full height and no requirement to crawl about! It was easy to put up took us less than 20 mins on our first attempt. There are two generous bedrooms and a huge living area that more than accommodates all the luxuries we take with us. There are slits for the hook-up and plenty of storage in the bedrooms. The canopy at the front gives added protection from the elements. We bought the carpet and mat but they're not essential. The tent folds down easily and fits into a sturdy bag that comfortably fits into our small car. We have had 3 trips with the tent since buying it last year and it has dealt with some horrendous Scottish weather without any leaks or problems. I would definitely recommend this tent but would like to see an extension made to fit.

We have used out tent twice now, it is quite big for our 207 so we have to carefully consider what else we take, but once the tent is pitched we have not been disappointed. The first time was in torrential rain, we ended up with other guests in our tent with plenty of room. I love the handy hanging storage, the space/ windows/ design really love it. It was really hot the second time we used it and we did seem to have a lot of condensation in the tent?? The instructions are really clear so makes it easy to put up and as previous reviews have stated you won't have any problems packing away as the bag is generous. We have brought the additional carpet and footprint which we used the first time, but as beach holiday the second time left it at home, it is nice to have but not essential. I would recommend this tent to familys for an all weather camping experience. Happy camping x

We got this tent when it first came out used it once and all the poles snapped in strong gale force winds but halfords helpfully gave us replacements. The tent is by far the best I have owned. Would defo recommend this to any family camper. Now there much cheaper then when I got mine. Easy to put up, easy to fold. And so much room you won't need to upgrade. Love it!

Used for 2 camping trips now for a family of 4 with teenage children and we are very impressed. Does not take up too much room in the car and easy to erect. Perfect for both short weekend stays and over longer periods. Spacious inside and fully sealed from all the elements. We are looking forward to many more trips away.

Recommended by a seasoned camper for our first camping experience for Me (the big kid), Wife (snobby non camper) and x2 daughters (Sensible 6 & bonkers 3yr old).
After a practice run in the garden (35mins), managed to put it up at a very windy camp site in an hour. But this was with the girls 'help'.
Very impressed with the quality (especially as bought in the sale for £136). Sewn in ground sheet for both main and sleeping areas, all the seams are well stitched and it comes with some excellent features. (curtains for the windows, plenty of pockets, holes for electric cable feeds, hook points in the roof line, mini shelving section, etc.)
Layout provided plenty of space for a double air bed and a king size aerobed with divan for her ladyship. Very nice indeed.

We have just been away in this tent for our first ever camping trip. We found there was plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. On the first night we had heavy rain with gusty winds and we stayed dry and snug. We have had no difficulty erecting and dismantling the tent and as previously mentioned by other reviewers we found it easier to do with the door open. We are looking forward to many family holidays with this lovely tent.

First tent for family of 4 - easy to put up (I would ignore the part on the instructions that says to do it with the doors shut though as it causes a vacuum inside and won't stand up) and easy to take down and fit back in the bag!
Spacious and airy and plenty of sleeping room.
Withstood wind and rain well and would definitely recommend to others.
