It leaks and halfords wont replace it. Bought this tent as a package sleeping bags airbeds lamp and airpump but basically don't use it if it rains now I am left with all the accessories and no tent. The time scale I admit is the factor but you use once then its put away for 12months. It was ok weather the first year, then 12 months later it was wet, and the tent leaked, and they will not replace because of time scale

We have only used tent twice, is a ok weekend tent. Would recommend a bigger tent for weekends away. When sleeping you have to keep away from the tent and the inner compartment is very close to the tent, which means that sleeping near the side of the tent seems very close and cant even use some of the bed to sleep. Also one end of the tent does not pull out far enough and lets water in as it inner touches the outside tent. I would say a 2 man, one sleeping at each end, then no problems with bedrooms.

My partner and I bought this tent in June, I have never camped before so putting up the tent the first time was a bit of a challenge but we did it. It has good sized living area but the bedroom pods are a little cramped for two people to sleep in so we take one each. A bigger groundsheet would be good and a zipped in groundsheet a bonus. The sleeping bags didnt offer much warmth so we now take duvets. The air beds are good but need more air putting in daily. All in all good value for money we paid £75 for the package.

I bought this from eBay as my estranged wife took custody of the gorgeous Outwell tent :-(. It is ordinarily sold by Halfords.

It came with 4 sleeping bags, two auto-deflating (whether you wanted them to or not) flock double airbeds, pump and a couple of LED lights; for an auction price of £100 inc postage.

The tent is easy to erect, the three shock corded poles were easy to insert and clip to the frame and didn't generate too much tension so the pins were easy to insert into the pole ends.

The bedroom units are fitted separately to each end and are of a pod design with the ground sheet permanently attached. There are only 2 of us so one end became the food store and prep area (and bar). The double airbed fitted across the tent, snugly into the bedroom part with little space for the morning''s fresh clothes. The bedrooms were pyramidal in shape and we found them quite claustrophobic to the extent that we left the bedroom door ¾ zipped only. These doors are very tall so kids may have trouble opening them if the zip travellers are left at the top.

There are insect screens on the bedroom doors but none on the tents external doors but two large, curtained windows allowed in plenty of light with the doors closed.

The communal area provided plant of space although some was used for luggage that I would have liked to have put in the bedroom. The ground sheet for this area protected against water ingress well. There was an additional groundsheet provided and it was only when packing away that we realised that this could be used instead of a bedroom so giving more usable space. Poles to support one door to form a porch were provided.

The tent would be a good first tent for a family and the 'festival package' format means that a family can get equipped at a reasonable initial cost. It did the job for us this year but will be replaced at some point for one with larger bedrooms.

Overall, I would give it 7/10 for functionality

Bought to see if we liked camping. Great for beginners. It has rained every time we have camped and not leaked. Our next tent will have a sewn in groundsheet though - but that is something you find out from experience (keeps critters out!). Value for money, all equipment included but next tent will have windows and bigger bedrooms.

We bought this as part of a tent pack to try out camping to see if we like it. Needless to say we love it! We have done 4 trips of 2-4 days and each and every time it rained. We, however, stayed dry! Staying on a very windy site in Norfolk we managed to fracture a pole when putting tent up, however tent stayed put all 4 days whilst on a cliff top site. Our local Halfords replaced the pole with 3 others free of charge! I keep thinking about replacing this tent but it is still going strong. Just wish Halfords did a proper extension for this so we could add a covered cooking area in case of rain. Only downside is terrible instructions could only work them out from info and questions from others on halfords forum.

We have had 3 hols with this tent. First as a trial (1 night) at Malham cove N Yorks, then we ventured further afield - 6 days in Warwickshire. The latest place we went to was Pear Tree Farm - Dorset (please see review)

The tent was fine for the money. I can't really add much to what the other reviewers stated but my biggest disappointment is the bedroom size, they make me feel a bit claustrophobic. I would gladly give up a bit of living space if it meant one of the bedrooms were bigger. Also I agree that another groundsheet should be included so that there is more protection against the winds that whip under the bottom of the tent. All in all a fair tent for first time campers for a fair price (considering the sleeping bags, Lilos, pump & a couple of lights are included.

Great first tent. There are things I don't like for example the gaps around the edges and I think I would buy a sewn in groundsheet next time but you live and learn! I didn't like that it wasn't meant to have ground sheets under the sleeping pods but we managed to procure a spare and had one under each pod which helped. It also didn't feel very secure but maybe that's because I'm new to camping under canvas! It had plenty of living space though and the three of us felt really cosy inside in the evenings. It stood up to loads of rain and terrible winds without a single leak and is evidently really robust. I think it's great value for money and a brilliant first tent. The things I don't like are maybe from lack of experience rather than the fault of the design. It was certainly easy and quick to assemble and we didn't look like first timers after the first go in the garden :-)

I was cheeky with this package, I had a look round the shops at different offers including the pack from Halfords.

I researched eBay - 'tent packs' and found a retailer selling off last years stock of these - albeit the current model tent, bags and other items for less than half the current retail price in store.

We are camping novices so putting it up was done with some trepidation, however, after a few errors it was up and stayed up.

The tent was bigger than I expected and easily slept a family of four. Stayed dry throughout despite the best efforts of the weather.

The sleeping bags are a tad restrictive in movement but warm.

No issues to report with the airbeds - the pump was effective - to the point were our camping neighbour borrowed it too!

I would use it again - for a short trip - but as said by others, opt for a bigger tent for a longer trip.

Excellent value for money.

Originally I was disappointed when we got back from our first camping trip, we were annoyed with a few things, the ground sheets wouldn't attach properly and because there's no ground sheet under the bedroom the wind gets in pretty easy and makes the tent cold. We solved that though by putting the spare groundsheet under the bedroom and then went to halfords to order a new spare groundsheet to put under the other bedroom which halfords gave me for free, they also gave me 2 new bedrooms for free so we are really looking forward to our next trip.

The tent is a lovely size, and the tent pack with the air beds is ideal. I would definitely recommend this tent as a starter tent, maybe not for more experienced campers, but for first timers like us, its perfect.
