1 Reviews of the Horizon 700 Nightfall

By: Chris/lesley  Reason: I own(ed) one  Made in: 2021   Rating:

We purchased this tent online from blacks on a wow deal and got a footprint and carpet for £739.00.

This is a big tent 5.5 x 7.5 meters its also heavy

56 kg when packed up the bag has wheels at one end and a handle at the other.

The single bag it comes in included the manual air pump all pegs as I've already said its big and the bag fills the boot of my ford Kuga.

The first time pitching it was easy after pegging out the 4 corners and inflating the 5 air beams witch took about 10 mins the tent was up and the other half setup the interior as I pegged the rest out, 27 pegs around the base 26 guys.

The tent comes with optional storm poles and 4 storm straps. Took about 30 mins to peg out . The guys come in there own mesh pockets sewn into the side of the tent.

The windows are tinted and all the openings have zip down mesh and solid screens.

The nightfall bedrooms are of a good size and have plenty of vents you can open or close the are easy to fit we left them in and connected when we put the tent away remembering to leave all the doors open to let the air out .

The bedrooms and the living area has a sewn in groundsheet and the tent comes with a front area ground sheet which you can use or not.

The front panel of the tent can be unzipped and stowed in the large pocket on the front corner and the zipped mesh screen on the other side.

The next door can be rolled up and tide up to the air beam toggles.

The mesh screen can be rolled up and secured to the top of the air beam on separate toggles.

Their is a side door with a attached rain canopy in the living area.

Overall this is a great family tent with 3 bedrooms which can be unzipped to make a bigger sleeping area simple to set up and take down .

But you have to remember it is a big and heavy tent and you will not get it into a small/medium car and it is to heavy to lift onto a roof rack.

You may find that you will have to leave the kids at home .

We love the space and the versatility of this tent.

I hope you find this review useful and you purchase one and enjoy having one
