We bought our voyager 6 tent in November 2016 to replace a 10yr old pro action 9 man dome. But didn't use until August 2017.
We thought the dome shape had done us well previously in strong winds and wet weather so we opted again for dome style.
Ours is the emerald green with small grey band. We got a bundle for £400 which included the porch and carpet, a real bargain. We have only used it twice but at 10days a time in Cornish ever-changing weather its great.
It took us nearly 1hr to erect including guideropes and pegs, between 3 people the first time. But last year 2019 just me and hubby did it in about 45mins. Its spacious and does actually fit 5 adults in the 2 beds albeit snuggly and our kids were older teens and portly me and hubby.
We found the larger bedroom wouldn't take 2 double airbeds as too tight. So a single and double used the first time. Last year we used the small bedroom as a toilet/change room. The tent on erecting is reasonably easy but who ever is tallest needs to be the one to go inside to push dome up as I couldn't reach even at 5ft7'.
The carpet is great as is much warmer in the tent compared to years of not having one, helping with our arthritis on colder days, but is a bit slippery underfoot with normal socks on. Both the mesh doors even ¾ closed keeps bugs out and are great for ventilation without opening right up.
The porch is reasonably easy to erect making sure you get it all overlapping the front of tent. The porch door has narrow zip for middle door and chunky zip for whole width of tent door which can come right off. So plenty of options depending on weather.
Its a shame the porch isn't too snug a fit, as rain does get in under and run down tent poles to floor at very end where it meets tent each side. Hence 9/10.
But isn't too much of an issue if you keep stuff away from that bit.
This tent is not the dark blackout type, that one followed and is blue again.
Please note this tent was originally called the Voyager Eclipse 6 which we have but is now called Elite 6, but they are the same tent barring a few minor changes. I have enclosed pictures on here to see.

I bought this several weeks ago 2md hand. I needed a new tent urgently as my old one had died. The reviews were good so took a chance. Reviews said 2 people 30 minutes on average to put up. I tested it in back garden pruor to holiday. Kids decudes to leave me to it. I put the tent partially up just to check for hilea etc. All appeared ok so I took it back down all within an hour and a cup of tea. Got ro camp site last weekend. I unloaded tent kida unloaded themselves. I.Put the tent up by myself within 30 minutea barring pegging out guy ropes. Daughter had to hang bedrooms as I am to short. We alo.Had the porch extension which I had to have a hamd with to hold the poles on one side while I stretched out porxh to full size. I also had to use a pole to push the elasticatee bit over the main tent. All.In all I cant fault he tent. Easy to put up. Very roomy and comfortable. Will be taking good carw of this tent and plan to replace with another voyager when the time comes. Not tried in tje rain as we had very hot dry weather for a bank holifay weekend. Will reproof it before next use to be on safe side as it is 2nd hand. Also plab to invest in the carpet. We uaed fleecy picnice blankets this weekend laid out in front of the bedrooms. This added to the comfort under food when getting out of bed. Would highly recommend this tent especially to a smaller family where 1 adult. Is available to put up the tent.

We bought this tent a few years ago and have been very impressed with its performance. Firstly, the living area is very spacious - the main reason we choose it. We tend to camp for a week at a time and having indoor space to relax is important, especially if the weather is, well, British!
The Voyager 6 is sturdy in windy conditions. It survived some pretty stormy weather last year, although it's worth pitching 'bum to wind' if a storm is forecast. We also haven't had a problem with it leaking through the fabric or the seams.
It's reasonably easy for two people to pitch, although I would struggle to do it solo. Now we can get it up pretty quickly, even the porch isn't too bad with a bit of practice. There is also a mesh screen for each door, so we are able to keep the inside area almost insect free!
The only reason I would give this a 9 not a 10 is because it is difficult to get in and out during the rain without creating puddles. After a particularly wet week a couple of years ago, we finally decided to buy the porch to give us a space to change out of wet boots etc - and keep the living area dry!
We absolutely love our tent and would be hard pressed to find another model that ticks all the boxes, especially not in this price range. We've often nosed around camping shops to see what alternatives are out there, but there are not many (even some of the expensive air beam tents) that have all the features we would like.

Overall good spacious tent bought as a bundle with the huge porch and carpet, footprint, the only issue is the porch, it's a bit fiddly to put up,instructions were also a bit confusing, but eventually got it sorted, go outdoors who sell this brand could with a detailed description video to help with putting up their tents, just a suggestion that could be helpful,I found the tent and porch/awning to be very spacious spare bedroom able to store clothes in and we used the porch for cooking, liked the fact that whole front of the porch can be removed as well, there is little touches like the cable holder and hook to hang a light and the section for you to put electric hook up cable through, lots if ventilation to prevent condensation build up, good tent worth the money we paid for it, I have still given 10/10 as the more I use the porch and tent am certain it will become easier to erect

We bought this tent to replace our weekend tent, a Vango Icarus 500 and our main holiday tent, a Gelert Tahoma6+. Rather than have 2 tents filling the shed we were looking for 1 tent for both jobs, something you can put up quick on the Friday night get away after work but roomy enough for a week or longer camping. This tent fits the bill perfectly, lighter than the Gelert but as quick to erect as the Icarus, 15-20 minutes from unzipping the bag to start pegging out. It feels like there is more 'lounge' space than the Gelert, the Icarus carpet has a good foot of space between each edge and the tent wall.
We haven't tried putting up the porch yet as we've only used it for weekends so far but it looks straight forward so long as there are two of you.

This is a fabulous spacious tent which is easy to erect. We put it up in 30 minutes first time in highish winds. It's very roomy and the bedrooms fit 2 adults each easily. The built in ground sheet for the living area is fantastic. My one minor critism is that the divider between the bedroom of the bigger pod has too much of a gap. I wonder if the designer could consider a zip type attachment rather than the current design. But a brilliant tent.

Borrowed my friend old Blue Voyager 6 one 2 years ago for my first camping trip with the family. We absolutely loved it, it was huge for the 4 of us. The wife and kids where hooked into camping after this.
Come last year I came into some money and decided to go and buy one for ourselves. We got ourselves the Emerald Grey Elite 6 and have been a few places now and have had no troubles. Not leaked on us yet and we have had a few terrible nights with the rain.
Would be 10 out of 10 but we are looking at the porch and it is expensive and we now cannot get the Emerald Grey porch from Go Outdoors as the design has changed.
All in all would highly recommend this tent but maybe not for a party of 6 (I was always brought up being told to go bigger anyway). Massive living space and 3 rooms 1 for me and the wife and one each for the kids.

An excellent easy to erect 6 berth tent. My own tent is an Outwell Delaware 7, but as we were only popping away for a few days I took my sons Voyager 6 as to be honest the Outwell is huge.
Never put the Voyager up before and had it up in about 20 mins. Took about another 20 mins to peg it down and get our gear safely stashed. Only hick-up was I got the poles onto wrong pegs first time. A quick look at the picture on the bag revealed the problem and was quickly sorted. Very very impressed with the interior space. Big enough for a family of mom, dad and couple of kids.
I was so impressed with it I brought one when I got home.Go-Outdoors £249, ordered Wednesday night delivered Friday lunch time. Result.
I would recommend this tent to anyone

A large tent with plenty of light and space, it is excellent to pitch and we are novices (10 years since we last camped) we had the tent up in 30 mins first go. Whilst away there was high winds and gusts of over 40 mph and the tent stood up to it very well.
Not sure I would want 6 in the tent but I do like space - would recommend the carpet as that was a definite benefit and helped keep it warmer.

We have owned this tent since 2011. Previously we owned a Vango and struggled to pitch the metal poles with just two adults. The voyager 6 Elite has made lightwork of pitching without the compromise on space. We have holidayed for two weeks in this tent, through all elements and it has never let us down. I can highly recommend this tent, it fits our family of 4 in very comfortably. The porch almost doubles the tent space, and makes cooking easier in the wetter weather.

Manufacturer's Description
A strong, stable and spacious 6-person tent with large windows and generous headroom.
Built using a strong semi-geodesic structure, the Hi Gear Voyager Elite 6 is an easily-pitched tent with room to accomodate 6 campers and all their gear.
It has a large, full-standing-height bedroom area, which can be adapted to convert some of the space into storage quarters if needed.
The groundsheet is sewn in, meaning you get no unwanted draughts, moisture or bugs getting in. Multiple windows (and mesh panels) let you control how much sunlight gets in, and maintain your privacy. The large front door and additional side door give you easy access for you and your gear, and also let you control ventilation.
It's stable enought to stand up to very windy conditions, with the cross-pole design giving it extra strength and flexibility.
A versatile tent that's great for families, groups of friends or festival-goers - and don't forget, you can add extra comfort and insulation by choosing the Hi Gear Voyager Elite Carpet, and extend your sheltered space by adding on the Hi Gear Voyager Elite 6 Porch.
