Very well made quality poly/cotton canvas tent from dutch company Obelink.

We have just bought this tent 2nd hand after debating between the Cabanon and this one, and luckily seeing this tent for sale here.

They are available new from Obelink in Holland (they ship to the uk).

Having just come back from a stay with the tent we are so pleased we changed from Polyester to canvas.

The tent is 6 berth - One large inner that can be split to fit 2 double air beds or be left as one large bedroom as we used it, it would easily fit a king size air bed with room for holdalls etc. Also a separate inner that fits 2 people easily. The inners have an approx 6' gap between them which is nice if you have older children like us who don't want to be right next to their parents. The bedroom inners have full cotton or full mesh screening so if it's hot you can keep cool but stay bug free.

The groundsheet is thick heavy duty pvc/vinyl type that Zips to the tent - heavy duty zips - so no gaps for bugs or draughts, and handy if the weather is wet to keep the tent clean when putting it away. The front of the groundsheet can be lowered depending where the door is so there is no lip to trip over which is handy if you have small children.

The living area in the tent is large, easily fits a table and chairs inside with room for coolbox, kitchen area etc, and with the 'push out' side parts of the tent there is lots of headroom right to the sides of the tent - my husband is 6ft2 and did not have any problems with the height of the tent, even in the bedroom area.

There are 3 windows to the tent - 2 to the sides and one larger window to the front. The windows all have either zip down covers for privacy or velcro panels. The smaller side windows have mesh screening too to keep bugs out.

The tent has 2 doors to either side of the front window that can be both opened up or one at a time. The middle panel that has the front window can be rolled up as well to open the whole of the front of the tent up.

There is a zip on sun canopy included as well, this was lovely as it was large enough to sit under and with the shaped sides to the tent made a nice area to sit in.

The main pegging points on the tent have tensioners on them.

The inners to the tent have cotton sides and fronts with mesh panels and polyester bottoms. They toggle into the main tent with colour coded toggles.

The tent poles are shock corded and are colour coded, they zip in easily into their sleeves, although I would say it is a 2 person job as the tent is quite high to reach in parts.

We took an hour and a half to put the tent up for the first time, but this included tying in all the guy lines and having never done it before. We think that 45 mins should have the tent erected and pegged out next time.

A lovely quality tent and well worth the money when comparing it against other polycotton tents available at the moment.
