Very pleased with this tent which I bought from obelink in Holland. Their customer service, speed of delivery and tracking of delivery were second to none. The quality of the tent is good there were a few stray threads which I cut off with my nail scissors the thick ground sheet is very good. The steel poles are very strong and the spare springs they came with a nice idea. The atmosphere inside the tent is lovely. The height of the tent makes it feel even more spacious. We easily fit two adults and four children.

The bag for the tent is roomy so it's easy to get back in. Like all canvas tents or big tents it has to be dried out which requires some space I hang mine over the stairs.

This is a massive tent - really strong and looks amazing. Loads of room inside for all your kit and can sleep loads of people. We use it with the inner which splits the tent in half to form a separate sleeping section. We fitted 3 adults, 1 child and a baby in travel cot into the sleeping section with room to spare.

It's fairly big and heavy but so spacious and comfortable when up.

Only thing to note is that due to the head clearance, it can get cold at night.

Even with the inner which reduces the clearance, it's still higher than normal dome-type tents. This meant lots of area which didn't heat up the way small tents do. I felt a bit cold - so will need to sleep with more clothes on/buy a much warmer sleeping bag. However, it was a cold night - I'm sure it will be absolutely fine in warmer weather. I'd say this is definitely a tent for summer.

Manufacturer's Description

# Sides roll up on hot days to let the breeze through (This is the Unique Selling Point of a Bell Tent - just think - no more 'melting' at festivals!)
# Lightweight but strong 285 g/ m²) high quality unbleached cotton canvas (perfect balance between durability and portability)
# Only weighs a total of 22.5kg (Tent, poles, pegs, bag and separate groundsheet )
# New for 09 all our Bell Tents have all the loops and attachments to fit one of our inner tents should you decide you want to add one. This is unique to Bell Tent UK and other Bell Tents don't have these fittings.
# Has a metal hoop on central pole, great for hanging things from.
# All packs down into matching canvas bag with two shoulder straps small enough to go on the back of a motorbike/ Smart Car. (approx 90cm - 35cm - 35cm)
# Fabulous unbleached Colour (no bright white nightmares) creating a iconic silhouette and giving a warm and gentle vide inside
# Material is treated to be water, UV and mould resistant for up to 60 weeks of constant use. (then you re-proof the tent for around £15)
# A frame covered Entrance. Unlike some bell tents this has an A frame entrance which creates a porch to stop the rain coming in. Tents without this feature can let the rain in and leak all the way up the entrance flap i.e. to the middle of the tent!
# Takes two people around 10 minutes to erect (OK it took us four goes to get it that fast)
# Can be erected by one person in around 13 minutes
# Waterproof ground sheet is octagonal, made to measure and is pegged down to stop it being blown about.
# The walls have an 8 inch colour matched rubber flap that tucks under the ground sheet to create and wind and rain resistant seal.
# Beautifully made from high quality materials
# 4 x Unzip able windows / air vents complete with mosquito nets
# Heavy Duty Zipped front door for fast access and a secure seal
