An excellent and roomy tent with a large living area.
I'm looking for an end extension to move the inner bedrooms. I'll add another double inner tent to form a hallway with storage and additional living area. This should make this a 10 berth with more storage and living space. Plenty of room for the five of us and all our gear.
I also need an enclosed side porch to protect from the rain and to add additional storage.
If you can recommend a side porch or end extension that is suitable I'd be grateful.
One tip I have is that the windows are rolled under rather than over. If it does suddenly rain, the rolled up windows catch the water and let it in through the vent (my fault but a valuable lesson!) which floods the groundsheet.
The main poles suffer from stress, one of mine has split, it stays up but could split and damage the fabric. I've ordered a new set as spares.

Bought this tent from Ebay last summer and took immediately on our first family camping trip and absolutely loved it. Once the poles went up with assistance from the wife I did the rest myself with ease.
Fitted a family of four in with no problems, and changed the layout by removing the double bedroom and using the end door when the weather turned.
We had one night of howling winds and rain and it did not move an inch, felt completely secure, and the kids slept through without a murmer.
My only gripe would be the separate ground sheet, which allowed a little water in, however we bought it for next to nothing, and it did not detract from our experience one bit.

Having borrowed a tent for two years in a row decided to purchase our own. Looked at all the options at a camping exhibition and picked the Indiana 8. Light colour gives light and airy feel when inside. Main reasons for purchase was size of “living” living area – plenty of room for a family of 4 (inc 2 teenagers). Being able to stand up-right in the bedrooms was the clincher (hate getting dressed acting like a 5’11” hunchback). Door options make it versatile (we only use the sides generally.
Have used a Khyam Rigidome as a separate kitchen but this year (son not with us) we set up the kitchen in the centre area. The mesh top of the window was perfect for letting steam etc out, and still room for 3 adults in chairs and a small table. This tent has also been used as a Leaders, tent on Scout camps in UK and even Switzerland, accommodating 4 Scout leaders and their paraphernalia with ease.
Definitely a two man job to put up, but does not take long after a bit of practice. I was not convinced about the separate groundsheet on this version until 10 wet days in Belgium at the bottom of a gently sloping site. Felt a bit like walking on a waterbed as the water flowed gently under the ground sheet, but none came into the tent.
Only 9 out of 10 because it can be a bit fidley getting outer and ground sheet lined up.

Having just got back into camping I got my tent 2nd hand. Love the size of the tent, can pack it away on my own, easy to erect but does need two people. Three doors to choose from. Would like to have had a sewn in ground sheet throughout though, will have to save for a newer model. Having said that have just spent a night with howling winds and torrential rain and survived intact, hardly any movement of the tent, very dry in pods but riverlets running through the main area.

Ours is badged as Campus, but made by Kyham.
Very spacious without the pitch covering footprint of the multi pod tents.
Ours has two double bedroom tents whereas later models have separate bedrooms. We bought a single bedroom from Kyham, but the hanging toggles have a different spacing on the later models, so a bit of cord was quickly fitted with knotted loops to give us a choice of layouts.
The tent has stood up surprisingly well in very strong winds.
We don't use the Indiana for less than three nights away as the sheer size and setup time isn't worth the bother.
A very good tent for a week at a time.

This is basically a good tent, it is enormous so very good space wise. Fiddly to put up -- I have done it twice now in over 30 degrees in the south of France, and wished I had a caravan both times. The other thing is, for travelling to the Mediterranean, I would suggest you don't buy the one with the loose groundsheet. With non porous ground, you simply end up with the water flowing through or pooling in the tent. But, that's camping really and the tent has given us loads of fun.

I have had this tent for a few years now and used it an awful lot. It is a roomy tunnel tent with an ample living area for those wet days. The sleeping arrangements are good with one 4 man and two two man inners. We generally use the 4 man room for the three of us, one two man is put up for clothes food etc and we leave the third room down, this gives us the opportunity to have the table and chairs inside in bad weather. It is a very versatile tent. The tunnel set up means that at about 7m x 3m you can still get it on all sites, I know that some sites don't like 8 man tents in the pod style as they take up 2 pitches. I have given this a good rating and I firmly believe this is justified. Take your time getting to know how to put it up so the inner all lines up well, after about 2 or 3 goes you'll have it cracked.

Fantastic tent, You can stand up in most parts of the tent (including the bedrooms), the living area is spacious. If you only use either the 4 berth inner or 2 x 2 berth inners the living area is even larger. It has an end which opens up fully and a door on either side of the tent. I suffer with a back problem and as yet have never suffered when we have been away in this tent as I do not have to bend double to get into the bedrooms. I would recommend this tent to anyone (and have), we have 2 adults and 3 children (12.9.8) and find it plenty big enough. We even use one of the double rooms as a storage area. Above all it is also very easy to put up, I am not going to say it is easily fitted back in the bag at the of your holiday (but that maybe to do with the user, rather than the tent!) It could also be put up without any inner tents inside and used as a marquee type of tent. The removable groundsheet goes right through the tent even under the bedroom inners (so there is a double layer of ground sheet where you sleep). 10/10 all the way :o)

Good ,roomy tent. We live, and use in Scotland so is well tested. No problems with leaks and stands up well in the wind. A real dream to erect.Well pleased with all aspects of a good sturdy tent.

Great first tent for us. Loads of room on rainy days and forr sleeping.
What I would change is to have a sewn in or bath-tub groundsheet. Be able to open window covers from the inside. Be able to pull the tent down to floor level to avoid water and wind penetration.
