Bought our kyham Nevada 3 yrs ago, first time we put up took us ages , then watched fellow camper erect similar tent, we then used their technique and now its so easy to erect. I am an unfit 60 yr old lady and my daughter put this tent up with out a mans help. Once erected the tent is extremely spacious, the bedroom area takes a double and two large single airbeds,the living area is very spacious. We went camping with two other families, there was 5 adults and 6 children and because it was raining they all came into our tent with their chairs and we watched the football, there was plenty of room. Torrential rain all night no problem with the 50000 weave fabric. Also we had no condensation. The tent is also lovely and warm. This tent is well made and always admired by fellow campers for its size and lovely big windows. Just bought a quechua family 4 pop up tent for camping for odd nights, the Nevada is better suited for weeks holidays, all in all a fabulous tent

We bagged a bargain with this in a sale in early 2011. We have just returned from our first camping holiday and are over the moon with the amount of space and the versatility of this tent.

We are able to follow the sun or the wind direction as required by simply opening/closing doors/windows.

Coped well with the rain when it came with a couple of small leaks the manufacturer assures is expected first time out.

The sewn in groundsheet offers good wind protection and the strangely large and unsecured gaps at the base of the huge window/door were easily fixed with stick on velcro buttons. Clearly a design flaw but easily solved.

Looking forward to using it again next month!

I purchased the Khyam Nevada XC4 at the end of April this year(2010) to replace our Sunncamp four birth. It ticked all the boxes we required and after recommendation from Friends we brought the Khyam XC4 plus the ground sheet.

Not being new to camping it wasn't long before we used it to full extent on a sort trip with friends in May. On initial pitch we noticed that the sewn in floor sheet had a kink which we put down to it being packed.Then the centre rear fabric peg eyelet literally camp off in my wifes hand under no pressure at all!We also noticed that when fully erected the four poles were at maximum bending capacity even when not under strain from the wind!

We have just returned from a potential weeks camp down on the south West coast when all of a sudden last night with any creaking ,the two rear poles shattered! Not much fun when at 1am with howling wind with wife & daughter in very much distressed condition.

The Khyam Nevada XC4 is a spacious feature packed tent, but obviously we got the one which must off been rushed when being manufactured!

Fantastic tent with lots of space. With the bedroom inner at one end with a dividing curtain, the front end has loads of windows with full curtains. The living space is great with enough room for 6 adults being able to sit comfortably and kids diving in and out. 3 doors gives plenty of options which way to enter/exit, the front door can be either rolled up or use the tent poles provided to make a canopy. The bedroom front has small pockets which are hard to see on the website pictures but are very handy.

The tent has seen some British weather ie RAIN and had one slight leak the first time but after some reassurance from the shop that the seam stitching would swell and not happen again. They were right! No leaks!

The ground sheet is sewn in and at the doors they unclip and fold outwards so kids dont trip over them.

I bought the footprint that goes with the tent and its well worth the money as 1) it helps when erecting the tent to line each side up, 2) stops the tents sewn in ground sheet getting muddy and musty smelling.

It is very easy to put up and after a bit of practice it can be erected and pegged down in 20 minutes.
