Camped in our Rigi dome for 10 years before replacing with Campervan. We loved it. The pitching system is so fast you can tour with it putting it up and down every day with ease. Ours has been out it gales and all sorts and on a couple of occasions was the only tent left standing in the morning on an otherwise obliterated site. We've used it when its been sub zero temperature, and with the help of an electric heater been quite warm and toasty. It is heavy to get in and out of the loft and lacks the windows and built in ground sheets of modern tents in the living area but this is more the compensated for by its robustness and speedy pitching. I loved it and I'm now planning on buying the Kyham Motor dome awning for my campervan which is the same system.

My family and I have inherited this tent off my parents. We have used it 3 times in last 3 months and find the ease of erecting is its biggest selling point especially when you have 2 small children getting impatient. Plenty of space in bedrooms and central area. Only downside is not enough pockets for small item storage.

An excellent tent and if we find a reasonably priced 2nd hand newer model we wouldn't hesitate to purchase immediately.

This is REALLY EASY to put and pack away, one person can do it all in the blink of an eye - the only thing that take time is pegging in. If it heavy showers hit, it has good central space to get on with the fun. Would be great if ground sheet was sewn in, but at least you don't have to worry about sweeping out before you pack away. Love it

A superb tent, very quick to erect and comes with a DVD which shows how quick and easy it is or instructions can still be downloaded from Khyam! Enough room to stand comfortably in the centre section and also to have a table for four plus all a families gear tucked in with you. We have two bedroom inner tents one fits a double inflatable bed with ease and rucksacks/gear, the other sleeps two single inflatables with plenty of room for gear.

If you manage to get hold of the classic annexe you get another 3x3m room on the front. Will take an immense battering from the elements and the only advise I can offer from experience is to close down the bedroom windows during heavy driving rain (by that I mean peg the window guys right next to the tent base) or the inner tents will get wet.

It weighs a fair bit when all in one bag. As it's an older model tent the groundsheet is not sewn in but it's never bothered us or been a problem.

Really easy to erect; I can put the tent up on my own in 30-40 minutes which is really unusual for a large family tent. The main structural poles are built which makes putting it up a breeze but does also mean it is far from compact when packed away.

Great space particularly if you also add the extension.

Can be very noisy in high winds but otherwise a brilliant tent.

This is amazing easy to erect, use, take down and pack away. It has been tested in really high wind, rain and sun and has stood up to it all perfectly well - and I can be a bit lazy about pegging in.

It's roomy enough if you need to take shelter in the rain. If it's hot and sunny the multiple openings allow through draft so doesn't get too hot.

I would recommend this to anyone whether a novice or experienced camper alike.

Love it. Had no problems its easy to erect keeps the water out, sturdy in high winds, loads of room inside as a family camper what else do I need?

Some friends joined us on a trip recently and after seeing how good it was they went and bought one as soon as they got home. As a family man this is ideal plenty of room for kids to play in if the weather isn't on our side and feels safe in all weathers.

We bought ours about 10 years ago, I think it has been used most years at least once without any problems. So impressed by this tent that I would probably buy another 2nd hand if I had to replace it. Easy to put up single-handed if need be. We use ours with the 2 of the large inner tents and we still had plenty of space. Would recommend one to anyone.

We have owned this tent for nearly 10 years now and used it every year. We have 2 inner bedrooms which each easily sleep 2 - are now thinking of buying a 4 berth inner bedroom so the kids can have friends. Excellent in wind - we have been in Scotland and been the only tent left standing! Good head height in lounge area - bedrooms good floor space with room for kit etc., no head room as on either side of tent with sloping canvas. Would buy Khyam again - heavy but reliable in high winds and this is important when we camp in the Lake District, Scotland and coastal areas.

We brought this tent after seeing it displayed at a local camping show. The ease of putting it up and down with the centre poles always staying in place was what appealed to us. We have used it all over France, the last 2 summers in the very south of France. What I miss is, although there is an area to sit if weather is bad, there are no windows, you have to open the door for natural light. It is a sturdy tent with plenty of space for a family of 5 for a fortnights holiday.
