8 Reviews of the Yana

A great tent, all round.

Some reviews indicate that the sleeping area was a little small, but we didn't find this to be the case case.

We had a double airbed sleeping 2 adults and a small child !, no probs for a weekend break.

I was so so impressed that I bought another Yana for my son.

They are very easy to erect and take down, stable and roomy.

Perfect for moving around from site to site, with the added space luxury of the living area, which is great for storage etc.

Highly recommended tent.

This is a fab little tent and so easy to put up. I am a single mum so needed something that could be put up and down easily alone and this is perfect. We camped in it in really bad rain as well and had no trouble with water coming in at all. The only bad point is the door which rolls down to the ground but with a energetic 2 year old running in and out all the time can be in the way a bit. But other than that a really good tent and I had mine in the sale for £32.99 as well so definitely very happy with it.

Actually a very nice little tent of it's type. You get what you pay for (about £45 on Amazon). It does what it says on the packet - goes up incredibly quickly and with no fuss.

It has lots of space inside but I guess the hoops design of the pop up limits how that space can be configured by the manufacturer. The inner tent bed room area sleeps one adult if you lie along the diagonal. Two or three kids would fit in just fine.

The other 'living compartment' is paradoxically a little bit bigger and another one or two adults could sleep here more comfortably.

We used it in rain and fairly strong winds up west coast of Scotland and suffered a few minor leaks around the zips but nothing too troublesome. Coped well with the wind but we did as above and added more guy ropes.

Getting it down was pretty straight forward because we'd found a you tube video to watch before we set off.

All in all a fun little tent and worth the fifty quid or so for the ease it brings in pitching and taking down.

I think this is a great tent for what I paid ( Not MRRP) I don't think it would be worth £99, however for £40 You can't go wrong, easy to put up, keeps the rain out, nice colours (blk/red).

Bedroom section is already hung - min fuss just to secure it to the ground sheet.

On a slight negative I think they should have made the bedroom section about a foot bigger to allow an airbed in either way round as the lounge area is plenty big enough.

Folding the tent back up is a bit of an art, but once cracked - not a problem.

At £40 to £50 you can't go wrong

Used this tent as an emergency stop over tent when travelling with my wife and three young kids and found it to be a great wee tent. My children are small enough to easily fit in the bedroom area, whilst my wife and I ( and our two Bichin Frise pups ) easily fitted on a double inflatable bed in the porch area. Pups had a 2ft x 6ft strip beside the inflatable to sleep on and it worked a treat. We already own a 10 man Hi Gear Kalahari ( which I strongly recommend ) for longer stays, but this tent stays in the car and is called into use on single night sleep overs when touring around. We did get some condensation in the porch area in the morning, but this was always on the cards with 5 people and 2 dogs in what effectively is a 2/3 man tent. No complaints! The instructions for erecting and putting the tent away were simple and effective. I only marked it down on ventilation, I would have preferred more, but maybe it would have been ok if we had not stuffed so many people and dogs into such a small space.

My husband and I used this tent for four nights. Kept out the rain but there is no way three people could sleep in it. The sleeping area is far too small otherwise a good ten. Took the other reviews advice and added two more guy ropes at the back and front no sagging in the middle now.

I bought this to go to a festival and thought that I would try it out with my daughter in the back garden. It goes up so fast and pegs out so easily it was great.

The bedroom is just large enough for two on a Coleman comfort double mattress with room for bits and bobs. It is a perfectly snug for 2, I would not want to squeeze 3 people in there!

Plenty of room in the main room in which we played games before we went to bed.

Over night the condensation built up and it got rather wet in the main room so when we got up we got a bit damp.

The tent is not the easiest to put down but with a bit of practice it is easier.

Over all is a great little 'Weekender' tent and well worth the money that I paid for it.

Just started out camping so I thought a pop-up would be a good idea.

Although the sleeping area is slightly too small to stretch out (I'm 6t 3') the fact you can get it up in 90 seconds flat makes it great for the wet weather.

One down side it that in my opinion it should have one more tag at the back to peg down to really stretch it out to stop sagging (my next DIY job).

So overall I would say it's worth the £80 I paid.
