1 Reviews of the MSR Carbon Reflex 2
By: Yorci Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2016 Rating:
The MSR Carbon Reflex 2 - it's a 2 berth - a bit snug, very light and backpack friendly though have only used it once. It gives me plenty of space for solo camping, a bit awkward getting dressed. It has two vestibules - not large, but big enough to keep my 30L pack and bits and pieces dry. If you have a dog with you, one could be used for your dog and the other for your kit. Very easy to pitch. It is said it can be pitched fly first but I would have thought this a bit awkward - I will take their word for it.

Manufacturer's Description
MSR's lightest double walled tent, the non-freestanding Carbon Reflex™ 2 backpacking tent is designed for adventurers who like to travel ultralight but want more protection than a tarp can offer. Built for two, the tent delivers the full protection, durability and simple setup of a tent with a minimum weight of .84 (1 lb 13 oz). Carbon fiber poles, lightweight fabrics and zipper-free vestibules make the tent weigh as little as a tarp and pack up just as small. It won’t weigh you down, whether you’re route finding in the Rockies, or losing yourself in old-growth rainforests of the Pacific Northwest. Twin doors, a spacious interior, and roomy vestibules make life on the trail more comfortable.
