1 Reviews of the Compact Luxe 5
By: Saz121299 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2008 Rating:
I bought this tent because I like the structure, nice & roomy with a pull out kitchen area and a choice of having a porch or not, the front can be positioned either at the front or inside, giving a shaded area for seating/eating etc. I can erect this beast all on my own in under an hour, very sturdy, lovely colours and will look great with my solar lights, bunting & flagpole :-) I would recommend this tent for a family of 5 wanting lots of living space :-)

Manufacturer's Description
The Compact luxe range of frame tents has been one of the best sellers for many years.
The Compact luxe 5 is a large and versatile tent in which you will find all the features you need for good or bad weather camping, and it is ideal for families.
The movable front panel has two positions, so that you can adjust the size of your living area depending on the weather.
In a sunny day you might prefer a smaller living area and having that extra patio to sit down in with your holiday book. On rainy days you might prefer having a large living area. Or on a very hot day you might just want to completely remove the front panel for even more ventilation.
The left hand panel of the living area can be rolled up, which gives you a second entrance and more ventilation possibilities.
On the right hand side you have a push-out kitchen corner, provided with a mesh window panel that can be closed by zipping the outer cotton cover.
There are two separate bedroom inner tents, one 3 berth and one two berth. Between the two inner tents there is a corridor, hidden by a front curtain, so that it is independent from the living area. This is useful to store equipment, hang clothes or get dressed.
