This tent is huge, measuring 5.2mtr by 4.3mtr! I chose this one because it was a 'Compact' tent - WRONG! I have no idea why it is described as 'Compact'!
Despite the size I am very pleased with this tent. Yes, it's heavy but this helps it withstand wind and rain The bedrooms have a sewn-in ground sheet and are quite comfortable. A narrow 'corridor' separates the two bedrooms which can be closed off with supplied fabric attached to the smaller bedroom side.
As is usual with tent manufacturers the berthing capacity is on the liberal side so realistically it would give two adults and two children plenty of space for living and sleeping.
It took me, on my own, three hours to erect and to move in but this is partly due to it being around 45yrs since I last used a frame tent, having to re-learn the order of erection. Despite this I found the tent straightforward to erect as long as you do it in a methodical way.
My stay in this tent was totally dry despite very heavy (stair-rod) cloud bursts.
There is ample room in the living area for cooker, fridge, chairs, and table. The front panel can be totally detached and zipped further inside or (in bad weather) zipped right at the front which increases living space.
The zips are heavy duty plastic, glide easily, and relatively quiet compared to other plastic tent zips.
