1 Reviews of the Masai 6
By: Discoll Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2005 Rating:
We wanted a tent that would stand up in all weather that British camping could throw at us. We haven't been disappointed. Four of us sleep comfortably in one bedroom and this leaves an enormous living area. We have camped in all weathers and have never had a leak. There are only 4 poles to contend with and as long as you peg one end down, it is straightforward, even in strong winds. It is easy to move about if you want to reposition it. Smaller and lighter than the Outwell Lake series. We used to camp in Vango Force 10 before family and we consider these tents to be of similar quality and performance. But bigger.

Manufacturer's Description
This extremely practical family tent positions the two inner tents on opposite sides of a central living area. This means adults and children can sleep separately, with less chance of either being disturbed. It also means one tent can be omitted when not required, creating a truly enormous sheltered living space high enough to stand up in. Despite its size, the Masai 6 is very simple to erect. And the combination of tunnel design, resilient poles and tough fabrics means it is very secure in rough weather.
The fly fabric is made from fully-taped, PU-coated Technical Cotton. In addition to its rain-shedding qualities, this offers a degree of 'climate control' in temperate regions - cooling in the heat of the day, insulating in the chill of night. The DAC aluminium poles are renowned for their superb strength/weight ratio. They slide easily through pole sleeves and provide unmatched resilience in strong winds
