I found this tent for £25 on ebay and for an introduction to lightweight camping it is great. I use it still for hiking and have found it to be a really easy tent to pitch and use. The seams are beginning to come away but the poles are great as well. The big problem I have found is the inner touching the outer especially on the roof but no great leaks. Although I am beginning to look for a new more advanced tent I cannot fault this for the money and for a fantastic basic tent.
The faults are simply it is inner first pitching which has caused me a damp inner tent and I am not sure the long term build quality is there.
Its light, easy to pitch and over all surprisingly good.

Although retailing at £50 they have been available off Ebay for much less. I couldn't resist a bargain so managed to get one for £15 +pp.!
I cycle tour, so this seemed a good tent to take when on my own. The light weight and large area for gear is great. The first thing is to get rid of the bag it comes in. Its big and bulky so I reduced weight/size by using an old stuff bag down to about 1.75kg.
It got a real workout in the Hebrides this summer with some of the worst and most persistent rain I've ever camped in. The wind was also up the 40/45 mph at times.
They (Ohvee) claim a HH of 5000mm. This might well be correct but will not help if , as in my case, the seams are badly finished and sealed. After 2 days of heavy rain a couple of seams leaked slightly (not a big problem) Then came the wind . The design of the tent with two alloy poles making a tunnel means there is a lot of unsupported fysheet. When wet wind blows it against the inner and eventually lets in water. After 4 days of heavy rain with only periods of let up the leaks were not major but were enough to put me off using this tent unless I'm sure the weather is going to be reasonable.
There are some pluses. The weight and size are great for single hiking/cycling. The poles are good quality and hold up well in wind. Its easy to erect. I would not pay £50 but for what I paid it was a bargain
