1 Reviews of the Blacks Sark 2
By: Coastwalker Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2008 Rating:
A nice and roomy 2 person tent, but on the limit for carrying to an event.- 4.3 kg.
I bought it used so don't know much of the firm's history of it. I'm guessing the date it was made.
It is a tunnel tent and quite easy to erect on your own in calm conditions. The poles are shoved into the flysheet and secured, then it is all pulled up, pegged out and the inner tent clipped inside and pegged. The sleeping area is long enough for the tallest person, and 1.5 metres wide- 2 adults and a child could sleep ok I should think. The curtained porch area is 1.8 metres long and can cope with a lot of kit, but not quite a push bike.
The construction and materials are better than your usual supermarket special, and the whole has a quality feel.
Too big for the back of my m/cycle though, so it had to go.

Manufacturer's Description
Designed for general camping, regardless of whether you are heading to hear the sounds of your favourite bands with thousands of other revellers at Worthy Farm or taking a quiet trip to the coves of Woolacombe beach, the Blacks Sark 2 Man Tent will have you kept in complete comfort. With a spacious tunnel design, the Sark Tent features a large porch area, which is big enough to accommodate all of the luggage and equipment you may have, and a spacious sleeping compartment that is designed to sleep two people in comfort. If it’s your first festival or indeed your first time camping, you should be aware that there could be rain. However this won’t be a problem with this Sark Tunnel Tent. Featuring a hydrostatic head of 2mm, this tunnel tent is waterproof and more than equipped for the rain Somerset, Devon and indeed the rest of the UK and even Europe might throw its way!
Pitching is made simple with the flysheet first design, if the weather is wet then the inner tent will be kept dry whilst the outer is erected first. The outer has a hydrostatic head of 2000mm and the fibre glass poles make the tent lightweight and sturdy.
