1 Reviews of the Freedom Trail Walhala 5
By: Bikerbutch Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2014 Rating:
We bought this tent after we did nearly 2 weeks in Hay on Wye in a small 3 man tent from Aldi. We wanted more room and be able to stand up inside.
It fit those requirements perfectly.
It never let in any water, although the summer we used it only saw a few occasional days of any rain more than the odd shower.
Its good quality, and I would say quite easy to put up. I struggled in wind with putting it up and taking it down, but I think thats more to do with technique than the tent.
The only thing I would say about this tent was in anything more than a light breeze, even with tight guy lines, it moves quite a lot, but it is tall. So for all I know this could be normal, but being new to a larger tent, thats all I noticed.
About the tent itself, it would sleep 4 people easily, we had 2 of us and a load of stuff including a blow up sofa! And we fit comftably, the porch area is ideal for cooking when the weather isn't great, I would say it could be too much of a squeeze with 4 of you sat in it though, but thats maybe slightly fussy.
We only used the side dor, it seemed to provide more room for storage than using the front door.
Good all round tent. VERY comfy for a couple or small family with the normal luggage of a mid to longer camping trip. Or id say would be perfect for a larger family for a shorter trip.
Water tight, warm enough for spring and summer, roomy and tall. Top Banana! :)

Manufacturer's Description
A simple dome tent with space for 5 that's a great starter tent for family weekends away, and perfect for a festival.
Roomy and easily pitched, the Freedom Trail Walhala 5 is a simple, versatile 5-berth tent with standing room inside, and ample space to store your gear.
Its basic dome construction and colour-coded fibreglass poles mean it's quick and easy to set up, with the inner bedroom attaching afterward. The front porch has a removeable groundsheet, making it easy to pack away and simple to clean.
The large front and side doors give you easy access in or out, and let you fully ventilate the tent. Covered vents also help airflow, preventing condensation inside.
The two large front windows have roll-away curtains, giving you privacy when you need it, and letting plenty of light in on sunny days.
