1 Reviews of the Mountain Hardwear Trango 2
By: Chrismartinuk Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2003 Rating:
Finally - a tent you can actually sleep in!
There is no flapping noise, no thoughts of the tent wall hitting you in the face in a high wind and no thoughts of 'will it still be there when I get back from walking'.
The Trango 2 is the perfect 1 man expedition tent. I am 6'5 so I wouldn't consider it possible to have another in the tent!
With 7 points per side to guy out if needed, and plenty of pegging points and tensioning aids, it really is a secure old thing!
Even has a handy zippable vent in the top to let out chilli fumes!
Is very easy to put up too. It took me about 10 mins from opening the bag to putting final peg in. Very simple! Putting away is easy too, the bag is plenty big enough for it.
The big window in the front is great to see the weather before getting soaked, or letting warm air out of the tent!
