Increases the area of the tent turning the front canopy into another room, giving a large enclosed 2nd area ,the bath tub ground sheet in this area works fine though we seldom use this piece as this extra area was basically used just for extra storage in storm weather.
Ordinarily we bought the extension/awning but it is rarely used as the Arkansas 7 tent is very large as it is.
The only draw back with the awning is it sags a bit over the join of the awning and tent and slips a little at the join ( did leave a gap when it slipped off) , so had to adjust it a few times.
Over all a very useful add on although in fine weather you just wouldn't need it.
A manufacturer video on the website would be useful to show how to fit it properly as fitting it when the tent is up you would need to be 7 foot.

It comes with a fully seam-sealed flysheet and a detachable bathtub groundsheet, and is easy to pitch.
