2 Reviews of the Calgary 300

Likewise a very good tent, especially the way the poles are tensioned when fitted, three ends have tension adjusters so just slacken off, fit the pole end in and tension correctly when up.
Found the tent stood up well to torrential rain while in Bruges but you could feel that fine mist come into the tent when the strong wind came up
All in all very good for 2, and would be better if one could place the mattress in line with the door, but the zip is off set so perhaps not a problem, plenty if space inside to move around
Not being able to make an awning out of the door when open is a drawback so will be upgrading to another but will keep this for our lightweight camping trips, Try and buy a second under tent ground sheet and internal full size mat, makes it all comfortable and clean.

Fantastic little tent that I bought for my teen as he wanted a tent he could stand up in.
Easy to pitch with one, easier with two just for the second person to crawl in and stand up after all the poles have been threaded through so the first person can do the ring and pins.
Withstood some hefty winds, rain, thunder and lightening whilst in France this year. Was very impressed with how it coped.
Also it was cool in the night too, normally my son has his fan on full pelt in his tent on holiday but with the 'Callie' he was cool enough just leaving the inner door open.
Space enough in the living area to put down two picnic rugs next to each other. My son had a double airbed in the bedroom pod, bed can only fit one way, being able to turn the bed longways would allow two people to access the bed without disturbing the other.
I'm hoping to use it as a weekend tent now that we're home and I've seen just how good it is.
