Just returned from our first trip in our Glendale 7. We bought the tent in May 2015 as a package with the footprint and carpet included. We had looked at the Glendale 7E which is this years model but the different styling of it did not counteract the fact that we could get last years model at a reduced price which made it a really good deal. We are a family of 4 and the tent is sold as a 7 sleeper but Outwell say it will sleep 5 comfortably. As this was our first solo family camping trip we opened up the sleeping pods to make one big sleeping pod (closed there are 3 bedrooms) and were able to fit 2 double and 2 single mattresses in. It was a squeeze with the mattresses so I think next time we will take 3 single and a double for my husband. The living space is a very good size and the large windows allow for a lot of light to be let in. You can fully unzip and roll back the divider that splits the living space and enclosed porch area if you wish to as well to make an even bigger space. It took two adults about 45 minutes to pitch the tent (our second time pitching it) and we had everything in the tent and sorted well within two hours. The footprint is to my mind an essential piece of kit as it helped to keep the underside of the tent clean. We need a bit more practice pitching to ensure the doorways are not too tight to zip/unzip but his will come with time. Very happy with this tent and would recommend to everyone.

Recently purchased this tent after much deliberation. We are a family of 5 and a yorkie and this design of tent seemed to suit our needs. Lovely to have 3 bedrooms and the separate front area is perfect for cooking and eating in if the weather isn't favourable. It has a lovely large living space and we have added the side extension which works well to protect the side entrance which we use when it rains. For its size, the tent doesn't weigh too heavily and the pack size isn't as big as other tents of the same berth. All in all I would recommend this tent but rated it an 8 due to the inner dividing wall being tricky to zip up fully if it's been pitched to tight. Other than that.Brilliant!

Following on from the great success of the Glendale 5 tent, Outwell now introduces the larger Glendale 7 Tent. As the name suggests, the Glendale 7 sleeps 7 people and features the new sleek tunnel design plus ''Rain-Safe'' front pole over the doorway.
At first glance the Glendale 7 tent may look like any other tunnel tent but in actuality it has a a hybrid frame - a combination of steel and Durawrap fibreglass poles - that allows for its generous proportions while also keeping the weight and bulkiness of the tent to a minimum.
The Outwell Glendale 7 is essentially a five room tunnel tent with a versatile 2+3+2 berth sleeping compartment – which can be opened up to a full 7-person bedroom - a 5+2 arrangement or part of the inner removed completely if not in use. The main living space measures a very generous 4.3x2.8m and features a fully sewn-in groundsheet and a side entrance door.
Through a wide dividing doorway is a fully enclosed porch area which itself offers plenty of additional space to relax, dine or establish your kitchen area. This area has a detachable groundsheet for ease of cleaning.
There''s a large canopy style front doorway which can be rolled up or propped out to form a sun canopy (porch poles not provided). Another feature are the multiple large windows throughout which allow in a massive amount of light but also feature adjustable toggle-up curtains (ideal for strippers) to adjust the light/privacy levels.
