We bought this inflatable awning second hand not long after getting our camper and have to say, I really like it. It is absolutely huge as you can see in the photos I’ve uploaded and easily triples the amount of living space as opposed to the camper on its own. Putting it up is really easy as it has got a single inflation point with all of the air beams being connected. We did try to inflate it with a hand pump but this was really hard work due to the size of it so have subsequently bought a q2v pump with a gauge on it which inflates the awning really quickly.
The awning is really versatile, as it has got the option of adding an inner compartment so you can create a separate bedroom to the living space which is really handy. Build quality is really good and there are plenty of windows, it has fly screens built in to all of the doors as well so you can get good ventilation without letting all the bugs in. I would say the only couple of downsides with this awning are that there isn’t a door in the tunnel section, so if there are people sleeping in the awning and you need to get out of the camper, you have got to go through the main awning. You have also got to be really careful how you position the awning when connecting it to the camper as we have managed to tear the side of the tunnel at the top where the sliding door caught it as we hadn’t quite positioned it right.
Overall it gives great space and is really easy to put up and if you can pick one up second hand they are great value for money as with the footprint, awning, carpet and sleeping compartment this would have been close to £1500 brand new and we picked it up for a third of that.
