4 Reviews of the Idaho Front Extension

Simply brilliant.
It keeps you dry whilst cooking, eating or just having a sit down waiting for the rain to pass! Room for friends to join you as well and wide enough to still give easy access to the tent.
As mentioned by another reviewer it also means you only need to zip up the 'inner' porch door making access much easier and the overall porch area much bigger.
Very easy to put up and put away.

Excellent addition, couldn't understand why my OH wanted one as space was already huge but after using it this BH weekend it is brilliant. Great to cook in and relax in too. Very easy to put up and doesn't take up a lot of space.

I agree with the previous review. May I add, it is most useful when it rains as the porch door can be left open without letting in the rain. If you own this tent you know it's a bit of a pain opening and shutting the front door when it's wet, because of the angle of the door (we bought one of these after de-camping in the rain one trip). You may want to buy a separate g/sheet as you may spend a lot of time in the extension!

This is a great addition to our Idaho XL and I'm sure it would be just as much so for an Idaho L.
A canopy or extension is a vital addition to cook in the UK's summers(!) and doing so is so much safer than doing so inside a SIG tent.
This makes a huge tent just that even bit more huge and gives excellent extra protection for the door and porch area to get those wellies off and keep all the wet outside.
All you need to check is that the whole setup will fit on your pitch!
