We spent one week camping in Southern France in our Kensington 4 this summer. We specifically chose a poly cotton tent as we were anticipating high temperatures - it reached 36/37 degrees! It was hot but hubby had brought an electric fan - thankfully we'd booked a pitch with electric hook up for a fridge. There were 3 of us using the tent and it was quite spacious. Before our trip, we did wonder if we should have bought a larger tent but were glad we hadn't as the Kensington 4 was comfortable without being overly large. It is a 2 person job to put it up (took about an hour with zipping in groundsheet etc.) but once up it felt solid and luxurious. The weather was so hot that we didn't zip up fully, just slept behind the front and side door fly screens which still gave us some privacy. The porch area was perfect for our camp kitchen, fridge and storage boxes and inside was perfect for the inflatable sofa. We didn't get to test it in wet conditions but no doubt that may happen next time we use it in the UK! Very happy with overall performance and design - would recommend.
