5 Reviews of the Magic

This is a great family tent. We used it for a number of years. It has a great children s bedroom with jungle theme. It also comes games for inside and out. With the lounge area is quite spacious. We also purchased the side extension to do all the cooking in as didn't want to smell the bedrooms out.

Picked this up in Millets in Birmingham for the bargain price of £155 to try out the camping experience with my wife and our children (4 and 1). Plenty of space for all of us, great kids toys included and it seemed pretty robust. If it rains, you will of course need an extension or gazebo but this is only a minor criticism and for the money we spent, I won't complain! For those with older children or none at all, it's worth noting that a spare bedroom pod is included that doesn't have the child friendly bedroom design.

Just returned from 11 day holiday in our Magic tent. Overall we are very pleased with the tent, however we are used to a frame tent and have to say how alarmed we were at the amount the tent moved about during gusty winds.
The tent was fairly easy to put up, we followed the instruction video from Outwell. We also have the side extension which was a godsend, we cooked and used it as a storage area. I'm not sure how we would have managed without it as there is no designated cooking area inside the tent and due to our weather you often need to cook under cover. The sides of the tent slope in quiet a lot so if you were to cook inside you would have to be well away from the sides and the plastic windows!
There was plenty of room inside the tent for two adults and two large teenagers. We liked the amount of windows and were able to sit and feel we were outside even if we weren't due to the weather!
We also have the carpet which my husband thought was a waste of money before we went, but soon changed his mind! The carpet makes a huge difference and was well worth the money!

I have just returned from a weekend away with my partner and my 3 young children. This tent is the best tent I have owned, it is ideal for the family. The weather was not the best, it was quite wet and windy and the tent stood up to it very well indeed. The kids loved it especially the games that came with it. I am now thinking of buying the side extension and the foot print and the carpet but the only downside is that there is no front porch available. I would recommend this tent to any body with a Family

This is a very nice tent, I've only used it the once so far, but compared to the last tent I had - it also being a '5 man' it is very spacious.
The child room is very good and a 'good' distraction for my young son, who also spent time playing with the other items that come with the tent - especially the lean to panel - throwing the ball throw consecutive holes and shouting out the numbers - he is only 4.
I'm going out again soon and on the the experience of the last outing I'm looking forward to using the tent.
I would recommend it to everyone - and have to quite a few.

Manufacturer's Description
A three-room tunnel design that can cater for up to five people across two bedrooms with a large living area and entrances at the front and side – the latter with a Rain-Safe preventing the rain from getting into the tent. There is generous headroom across most of the living area, thanks to the OEF System (Outwell Extended Frame System). There are plenty of the usual Outwell DNA features here, too – like pre-attached Luminous Guylines, Mesh Pockets for the inner tents, Heavy-duty Zips, Adjustable Pegging Points and Reinforcement Patches at all stress points. Furthermore features like Toggle-up Curtains and the additional inner tent offering instead of the Kids Room, plus Outtex® 4000 fabric make the tent fully live up to its name. Pure Magic!
Recommendation: For families who want a more compact tent that still provides all the usual Fantasy fun.
