We really like this freestanding inflatable campervan awning that is the perfect size for out VW T5 camper van.

Being an air awning the bag size is larger than the poled equivalent however it is a lot easier to put up and manageable by one person. Firstly we threaded the awning onto the campervan rail and then we pumped up the two beams, which took no time at all. Pegging out the awning was next and then the guy lines were last. Simple as that.

The awning overhangs the front slightly so you can avoid drips inside the awning, and we liked the tinted windows which let in light, but gives extra privacy. There are also curtains that roll and toggle open.

The awning has a sewn-in groundsheet which provided good protection from the ground and allowed us to keep dry feet after taking our shoes off.

We like the large living area which we found perfect for 4 people, chairs and table too, yes it is a bit of a squeeze, but this is camping after all!

It also has side access panels as well as front access, meaning more options to avoid others who maybe inside.

We do not generally use electric hookup, but there is a built in cable entry point which is handy for those who do.

We found that the tunnel area was large enough to stored a bike or if we needed to the pushchair.

The awning is packed down without any hassle by simply unpegging, removing from the van, opening the valves, folding and away it went.

This is a great awning, although large when packed away we will use this time and time again on our camping trips.
