3 Reviews of the Oregon Twin

The good points of this tent are . It Is easy to erect.Lovely light colours and airey . Good walk In head height . Plenty of living /sitting In area . 2x bedrooms adequate. Large windows at the front and back.
Doors at the front and back . Which you can roll up when Its hot and sunny .Allowing good ventilation Downside the ring and pin, for the base of the poles 'I am not convinced about' . They do tend to come out If you are moving the tent Into position' . No bathtub groundsheet . 'It can get drafty when the weathers very windy '. But a lovely user friendly feel to the tent . We think Its a good family tent .

We bought this for warm weather camping due to good ventilation. We added the front extension which makes a massive difference, creating loads of sheltered space. The extension is heavy though and takes twice as long to erect as the tent itself.
A few weeks ago, using the tent in a downpour without the extension led to the seams leaking, which is disappointing for a tent of this quality.
Very easy and quick to erect, though still a bit unconvinced about non-sewn in groundsheets generally as we also had a flood on a pitch in France this summer that a sewn-in would have prevented.

I haven't really put this tent through its paces as yet as I've only been camping in it once. It goes up REALLY easily with just three poles, but it is heavy (especially if pitching in one) and really needs two people to put it up. It is a great size and has two large sleeping areas as well as a very large living area in the middle.
We stayed dry during a massive downpour and even with three (one adult and two small children) in one compartment, everyone was comfy and didn't press up against the outside .
The only thing to watch out for is that you pitch it square. Because it was raining when I put it up, I was in a rush and it was not squared up so the inner and the outer were very close in places. I left it and didn't have any problems, but this is something to watch out for.
