We have previously owned Outwell tents and have always been impressed by the quality and features of their tents. We considered several other makes and models before choosing the Penticton 5AC. One reason for the choice was finding a great potential deal on ebay (luckily our top bid was good enough!)
We really like the 'built in' extension. This can be zipped up as additional space or you can unzip and roll up any or all of the 3 doors which makes this space really versatile. There is plenty of space for a large kitchen unit, electric cool box and table and chairs.
We also like the generous bedroom space. As there are only 2 of us, we open up the space which allows us to use an enormous king size airbed with plenty of space to move around. The darker ceiling is great as our previous tent was quite light.
There are plenty of pockets for storage, both in the living area and bedroom space.
We found it really easy to inflate the airbeams. Our main concern was that these might not be as stable as conventional poles. As we did not experience any extreme weather conditions on our recent camping trip, they were not really tested to any degree, but appeared really sturdy.
All the usual Outwell features such as cable entry points and ties, curtains, mesh doors etc. All in all a great tent for 2 adults or a small family.
