I bought the Silverhill 500 for Bike Rallies. Had a similar tent but was awkward to put up on your own.
This 5 man tent with steel poles has been a doddle to put up on my own, regardless of weather conditions.
People are surprised when they find 1 man in a 5 man tent but at rally sites it is a bonus for sure.
Plenty of space for friends in bad weather for sure

We bought the Silverhill 500 (or flagstaff 5 on the Outwell site) to replace an Oakwell XL tent. Found the Silverhill Quicker to put up but not as tall as the Oakwell. With the front extension fitted this created a large cooking/ extra living space.Have taken it on two long weekends locally and a two week break to Cornwall this year and we are very pleased with our tent. Came to realise a few years ago you get what you pay for with tents. The Outwell aren't cheap but give great value for money.

We had been looking to change our oakville model to a flat fronted model but just couldn't seem to find the right size for our needs. We were lucky to be able to go and view the tent on display.
The tent is just as easy to put up as our oakville was, taking just 30 mins on our first outing. Having a flat front makes so much more use of the inside space and having the front canopy means we can get in and out without the tent getting wet when it rains. We are very happy with this model although I do think that Outwell seem to have gone down a bit on the quality of there tents over the last 10 years.

Manufacturer's Description
The Outwell Silverhill 500 will comfortably house five campers, with two large Ambassador Master Bedrooms, a large living area and a deep front canopy that gives you plentiful space to spread out and relax.
It's been designed with comfort in mind, boasting darkened, thermo-reflective 'Ambassador Master' bedrooms with generous headroom, floor space and handy cable entry points so you can power an appliance while lying in bed. The spacious canopy, easy effective ventilation and plentiful storage/living options (like storage pockets, toggle-up curtains, tinted windows and 'dry' zips) make it a great shelter to relax in on a summer day.
Outwell's 'OWS' Wind Stabiliser system uses hook and loop fastenings for the flysheet and poles to keep the whole tent stable whatever the weather. 'OPS' Power Stability System uses rigid steel poles, also giving increased headroom and internal space. The 'Sealed Ground' system protects from dirt, bugs and draughts.
