We got this tent just before they stop doing them .We use it 3 times a year each year. Its a great tent. Some of the poles have spit so we have got new ones. There is a lot of room in side of this tent so if you r stuck in side with bad weather the kids can play. Looked at other tents but just could not find any like this one it takes about 40 mins to up 2 person . One person can just about do it

We have used this tent both in the UK and in France and have been reasonably pleased with it.
The only real fault it has would be the flimsy fibreglass poles which have split. We have replaced the poles with some from an older tent so now have a mismatched set.
Another gripe would be that it seems to suffer badly with condensation when we camp in colder weather.
.And a problem caused by the owners. The bag seems a little on the small side. We can never get the tent, inner tent, poles, doormat and pegs to fit neatly in there, it always resembles an uneven/bumpy bag of cabbages!
All in all, I do like this tent, and especially love the little extras such as the electrical cord loops to hang a light, and zip openings for a EHU cable (although a few more would have been nice depending on position of EHU unit), multitude of window options, and variety of door positions.

This is a brilliant week tent. Takes us about 40mins to set up at a fairly relaxed pace. The interior living area is large enough to store all our equipment for a family of 5 or to eat in if the weathers bad. Our eldest sleeps in a pop up here sometimes if the campsite is a bit tight on space. We have used it for family holidays in France, Cornwall, wales and the Forest of Dean. Its been well used and has worn very well. The porch is big enough for cooking in in bad weather.

We have had many tents over the years nearly all Outwell, as said in our last review. Last year we bought the Carolina as the kids are bigger and wanted their own space. We thought we'd down size! Two weekend camps later and were back in the Sun Valley 6. We've been spoilt by the space! And although this tent is twice the size of the Carolina erected its the same size packed away, it's the flexi poles that make the difference.
Our Daughter has taken ownership of the Carolina this year and we are back in the sun valley.
Fantastic tent, sadly ours does not have the canopy but the canopy and side porch from our old Monty 4 fit a treat. Best tent ever.

What an excellent family tent. Just back from our first family outing and we brought some relations. Tent allowed 6 children and one adult to sleep in the bedrooms with a further 2 adults sleeping in the living area and there was still loads of room.
Easily put up in 35 mins by myself and my eldest boy age 8. Porch is great for cooking in . Admittedly it hasn't been tested in adverse conditions but I put it up in the garden at Easter and it did blow fairly hard for several days (I left the tent up as I didn't fancy taking it down in windy conditions which I suppose is a problem, hence the 9/10)

Brilliant tent, best one I have had so far (and I have had a few! lol) I brought last years model so it would match my stuff.
It was really quick to put up bout 30 mins, very roomy, the front porch is great acts as a wind break so great to cook or just sit under. I like all the little extras like zippy bit to put your elec hook up through and the mesh doors, so you can leave it open to let the air in without getting bugs in the tent. Had a cabanon frame tent before this but I prefer this one! was worried about it getting too hot being synthetic, but the weather was boiling hot when we used it and the tent stayed quite cool, The bag is quite heavy, couldn't lift it on my own, but then that would be the case with any big tent.

Last year was our first year of camping and went three times. Great time was had and this was due to this great tent. Excellent size, great with the front canopy, easy to erect, erected in 20-30 min. Great height inside and bedrooms spacious. Only bad point is it takes up a fair bit of space in the car but however still a great tent.

We got the opportunity to buy this at a knock down £200 as it had been a display model - 5 weeks up on inside display. Tent is 6.55m x 4 m so will fit on the majority of pitches without a problem.
Wow - what a great tent. Best money we have spent.
Used it for thee first time for the October half term hols for a week at Brighouse Bay (Dumfries and Galloway).
We had it pitched in about 20 mins. Footprint down and tent pitched. Pegged out all 4 corners then threaded the poles through and erected one at a time.
The long side pole was a bit of a devil to get in (and out again when decamping) but everything else was a doddle (had an extra person for holding up from inside for the fist pole up - just in case).
Not a lot to add to what has been said previously.
Being October it was slightly chilly and we had the fan heater on 24/7 - not a spot of condensation to be seen anywhere. The weather didn't get really wet or windy but I have faith that the tent would have stood up to these pretty well.
Children loved the storage pockets and filled them immediatley with gloves, torches, games, shells from the beach etc.
Living area is plenty spacious - we had a doulbe Alu roll up table, Larder cupboard and our 4 chairs with loads and loads of room left (will be taking another double table next trip and will easily fit)
The 'porch' bit was great and we did all our cooking under it. It will zip off completely if need be but we sheltered the bin and muddy wellies under it.
I thought the tent may be a bit dark with it being blue (had been in some Vangos and found them dark) but it wasn't and when all the curtains were zipped open then we were flooded with light (and warmth fist thing as we go the sun).
Front has zip curtains and fly mesh. Both side entrances have zip fly mesh and curtains and there are bottom fastening curtain on the first tunnel bit.
Bedroom pods have fly mesh too and a little zip part with window in the side at the bottom. They can be used as one big space or two separated by a fully zipped partition. Mesh pockets in the pods too - we stored books and watches when in bed, children used them for glow sticks and head torches and all those annoying bits and pieces they accumulate!
Plenty of room in the bedroom pods and easy to stand in for getting dressed.
Well ventilated.
Cord tidy for the light flex.
My only niggle apart from the side poles (due to my strength - or lack of) was the back corners of the bedroom pods - will try and pitch a bit better next time as they were very baggy and seemed to need something else to get them pegged out properly.
We went the whole hog and got a carpet - but keeping an eye on costs we got a brand new Monty 12 carpet at half priceish and it fitted the living area perfectly.
It was just as easy to take down as it was to put up. We decided to leave the carpet in when we rolled up the tent - in theory saving the space of the carpet folded and being in the boot. It all fitted back in the bag no problem (bag is a big sturdy one on wheels).
All in all I would thoroughly recommend this tent to any family of 4 or 5 if all the children are little.
We also have the Hartford L and I much prefer the Sunvalley.

We used this tent for the first time this year and loved it. We are seasoned campers and have been holidaying under canvas for over 16 years. We decided on the sunvalley 6 because we have 2 young children and wanted more living space. Well we were not disappointed. Plenty of living space. More than enough room in the sleeping pods and the added advantage of a front porch. I might also add that we had gale force wind and torrential rain during our hols and the tent faired very well, keeping us dry and cosy. I am extremely pleased with this tent

This is a fabulous tent. The living area is a really good size and having lots of windows makes it feel even bigger and beautifully light. My husband and I can pitch it in about 30 minutes and we also have the footprint groundsheet and carpet which we think really help to make it feel cosy and perfectly dry. Our last trip also included quite bad weather but the tent stood up really well and we felt safe and dry throughout. I can't fault it and have yet to see a tent I like better.
