This is just the trial run at our local park:
The quibbles (thought I’d get these out of the way):
• Not sure the hand pump is working properly. BUT (see next point)
• No instructions for how to make the new style valves actually work - there were several trial & errors before we sussed it - so the hand pump may work but we’d given up & switched to an electric one by then
• Outwell online instructional videos didn’t cover the new valve design
That’s it for quibbles. It’s a great tent that is going to take a really short time in the future to pitch.
The bedroom section is big (with the central divider curtain removed). It will easily take the large inflatable bed (the one with the built in headboard) that we have and still have space around it.
The living area will comfortably house 2 folding chairs and a table.
The “privacy” windows are surprisingly effective. The ventilation sections work well too - although I think I may have preferred the inner tent vent section to have its own curtain over too. But I’m going to get creative with the room divider curtain- as we won’t need that.
What this reasonably priced air tent does allow for is weekend camping, leaving after work on a Friday, quick pitching (once you work out the valve system) and very quick Sunday afternoon pack up. It will certainly live up to its name.
