Very helpful extension to the living area of the tent, and excellent protection from the weather. Also very sturdy - recently pitched on a coastal site, we were keeping a close eye on it when a stiff breeze picked up, ready to take it down if it was threatening to blow away or get damaged, but it held firm in all the north-easterlies it was hit with.
The extension is difficult to get hold of now, but it is much recommended if you can.

We really struggled to get one of these as the Utah had just been discontinued when we bought it and although the Dakota 6 extension would have fitted we really wanted a colour match with our blue tent.
Bought it as we were off to Cornwall for a week with friends in a much smaller tent so needed extra space to entertain in when it rained, which it did!
The extension was great to cook in and leave wet shoes/stuff which left the inside of the tent clear enough to fit a picnic table and four chairs as well as floorspace for two beanbags and some throws as a chillout area for the kids.
We found it a very worthwhile investment and a good way to define the areas of the tent and keep it tidy and clean in wet weather. It was not hard to pitch once the main tent was up and survived some pretty hefty coastal winds without so much as a wobble.

Brill, large covered area no drips in tent when raining. You can even cook under it if it rains {with a little care obviously} Top product many admiring comments on sites everywhere its been. We have it on the Utah 4, loads of space the same sized windows as tent but no curtains. Very easy to erect {I put it up on my own while the wife sorts out drinks} If you want one shop around we paid £60 from Yeomans on line {bargain}
