I brought this tent a few years back as didn't have a clue being my first tent and was the only one that had all the features I wanted at a bargain price. I think it's almost a budget version of the whitecove 5 but it appears Outwell doesn't do 'budget' very well and I was very fortunate to get it for £190 in Halfords. Having looked at them both closely at the time, I think the only difference was the colour, the door was on the opposite side and the material was 1000 less in regards to hydrostatic head. All other features were exactly the same.
I just cannot fault it as it's been perfect for our needs. A large front room, two bedrooms, mesh zipped doors front and side, fully sown in ground sheet and a canopy over the front meaning you can keep the door open and stand out of the rain whilst cooking etc.
The only flaw is that's it's a little too light in the bedrooms in the mornings.
It has stood up to all the weather and never had a drip come inside. I've been in two severe storms - one in which 85% of the tents in the field were in the bin the next morning and it's never broken or failed.
Me, my mum and my daughter all love this tent and six years and plenty of holidays on, it still looks as good as new so we won't be getting rid of it anytime soon!
