In 50 years of camping and pitching many various types of tent, we have never had problems as we have experienced with the Vigor 3.
The concept is good, and is exactly what we were looking for, but unfortunately the design needs more thought.
The back of the tent is fine, but we think Outwell have been over ambitious with the front section. The problem seems to be connected to the fact that it bells out as well as upwards. This means that the window area and the porch will not lay taut and indeed crease and sag when the porch is closed. This means that the tent would leak and flap in inclement weather.
Smaller problems include the guy ropes foul the porch when it is open and the window curtains have nothing to hold them closed. Also, contrary to Outwell's description, the tent is not anywhere near high enough to stand upright in the front section (an advantage which was an important consideration in our decision to purchase the Vigor 3).
For all the above reasons we have sadly returned the tent and purchased a different make of tent.
