2 Reviews of the Winfield Plus

This has been a really good tent and has seen many years of use. My model has an equal sized bedroom at either end, both of which will take a double airbed, two people and all your personal stuff. Two doors give you a choice of which way to face/open up. I particularly like the way that you can take out one of the bedrooms and have an extended living area with windows and vents, with a full groundsheet underneath. Plenty high enough for a 6 footer to stand up in the centre, easy to erect, goes back in the bag easily, and stable in high-ish winds. This tent has been a really good servant. Only now after about 8 years regular use are the (fibreglass) poles beginning to split and the elastic get loose - but so far I have been able to repair the splits with fibreglass resin so even that has not been much of a trial. Comes highly recommended.

I thought this was a fantastic tent. 2 good sized bedrooms at opposite ends of each other with a zip door on either side of the tent. These can be opened up to create a great flow of air straight through the tent when it's hot. A double blow up mattress fits easily into the larger bedroom with space to spare for your bags. The only gripe I have is that some joker in the manufacturing stage colour coded the poles wrongly and it took us an hour of trying to erect it before we realised! Needless to say we had a good laugh but might not have done if it was raining. Overall, still having lots of good use out of it and now will be using it as a family tent on our 1st family camping holiday.
