A nice addition to the WL7 and brings some valuable additional outside space since the standard front porch is not too deep. It integrates perfectly with the main tent. With the extension installed, this quickly became our main outside area with enough space for cooking and eating.
The extension is very sturdy and when fitted correctly does not ripple in the wind. One issue is that the assembly instructions are very scant and it was not immediately clear how to position the extension properly and how best to peg the guy-lines to keep the sheet that goes over the top of the tend fully rigid. My hint is that be sure the extension is exactly centrally positioned so that the small side flaps overlap with the top edges of the tent.
It is also a shame that the extension can only be put on the side of the tent and can not be put on the front to make a super-sized awning. This would have really added some flexibility.
Overall, a worthwhile addition to the tent and the small niggles aside it is a great piece of kit.
